So, it is looking like I might be able to attend the last show of Stevie's tour this time. I have never seen Stevie in concert solo, let alone the last of a tour.
This being said, I was just wondering some things. What is she normally like on the last show of a tour? Is she completely vocally spent? Does she get emotional? Any of you chiffonheads that have attended a last show on a tour, all comments would be cool, to kind of let me know what to expect. Sorry I'm not able to contribute more personal experience in this thread at the moment, but I have never seen Stevie solo, so I have nothing to say.

It's probably not the last show of the tour. There is still the unscheduled Phoenix show

That's sort of a silly question. Chances are she be just the same as always, with little discernable difference. But then again I suspect, because she'll be so weary and contemptuous by then....
She'll roll onto the stage in a wheel chair.
Her background singers will carry the show. She'll just sing "ooh ooh ooh" or "ah ah ah" every now and then. Not because she's intending to sing, but because her hip is bothering her.
She'll get real bitchy with the audience....
When she's given a stuffed animal, she'll bite the head off and throw the remnants back into the crowd.
During the Edge walk she'll kick people's heads, knocking them unconscious with a swift blow from her platform boots.
The set list will be: Dreams/Rhiannon/Dreams/Rhiannon/Dreams/Rhiannon/Dreams/Rhiannon...and for the closer....Dreams!
At various times during the show...she'll cry uncontrollably and bang her head on the stage.
Then she'll hump an amp, wailing Lindsey's name.
Anyone else want to chime in?

What I really want to know is how she will be at one fourth of the tour, or more significantly--two thirds of the tour! sorry

Good question. I haven't ever seen a final show during a tour, but I've been to a couple of openers. I think the last shows, she pretty much does with her eyes closed, especially these days. Not much fluctuation. The openers she used to get a little nervous. Also, years ago if you went to an opening show there was a good chance that you would get to hear a song that would get dropped later in the tour. These days her shows are pretty routine, so I don't think there is much difference seeing the beginning show compared with the final one.

She said that in US magazine before the SYW tour, too. As we all know, the boots only last for two or three shows....then we were graced with the lovely Frankenbocks.
I really do not care what she wears on her feet. Of course the boots look better but if they bother her...I am all for her wearing whatever she wants.
