I have found Rockonthenet.com to be a great resource for artist info and releases, including FM and Stevie. As we all remember, in the online only CBS Eye-To-Eye extended interview, Stevie told Rita Braver that she was afraid of being kidnapped by someone who thought she was a witch. Here's the depraved situation that caused Stevie to have this fear:

1998

July
*Stevie received a restraining order against a schizophrenic fan who believed Nicks was a witch who could heal him and "...enable him to get along with others and find a woman to marry" and who showed up at her Denver concert. The "fan" allegedly had stated that he wanted to kidnap Nicks, use her witchcraft to cure his schizophrenia, and then "make babies" with her. He was banned from all future Nicks concerts and from hanging around her Los Angeles home.

Pretty scary stuff to say the least...here's the link http://www.rockonthenet.com/artists-n/stevienicks_main.htm

Yes I think a lot of us remember that well. There was more about him in other stories that said he was a scientologist that was gay and he wanted her to "cure" his homosexuality. Which was the first time I seriously wondered if Tom Cruis is or was gay. And John Travolta who is also a scientologist and was recently photographed kissing a man.

Can't twerps like mentioned above, collectively have some Kool-Aid, get on the Mother Ship, and leave Stevie the hell alone? Damn.

He was the source of her fear during the Enchanted tour. He wanted to make babies with her to cure his homesexuality. Yikes.
Stevie was asked about this guy directly and said that she rarely knows about these types of things as they are happening, because her "people" do not tell her. They know it will freak her out too much.

I doubt very much that he is the source of her safety concerns today. He is just one of many.
