i no uv all heard this prob but i just heard it for the first time and i can't get over how amazing it is! its for download in the "stevie song of the moment thread" thanx to jason. ur thoughts?

Hmm..I'd be perfectly fine seeing Stevie and not hearing Rhiannon or Edge.

One of her best live performances ever. Makes me think she could do a great album of standards, and it would be a big seller. (Think outside of the rain and box Stevie!!)

When are you seeing Etta? I might see her on March 10th. She does At Last during every show, but you know her voice is nothing like it used to be.

What sucks is she doesn't perform anything from last year's album because she's mad at the record company.

When are you seeing Etta? March 15th at a casino :eek: It should be fun...a co-worker gave me the tickets as a Valentine and I do not pass free concerts. :cool:

yes i love this performance, Stevie was also the first i heard performing it (At the time i had never heard the original or any other cover version of it) and i think that is Stevie's best live performance to date :)

I burn that thing on every friggin' christmas compilation as a closer. Has nothing to do with X-mas, but it just fits. It's amazing, but I rank her big Rockperformances in the 70's slightly higher. And Sorcerer on the BN-boot.
But overall, this is one of the finest Stevie-moments ever.

Rhiannon I could do w/out, but Edge is too much fun live...

the point is, she wouldnt drop them cause its what a lot of people are there to hear, just like a lot of people are there to hear Etta sing "At Last"
