Can't say that I'm a big fan of her version. I don't like the way some of the words sound. Especially the "had" in "what you had... and what you lost". It sounds more like heed. Please don't hate. I know its her accent. I just don't care for the way it sounds in the song. I've never noticed her accent that thick in her other songs. :o

Her accent is that thick in her live performances. I agree though, this version of "Dreams" is only so-so. Her version of "Landslide" however is magical...

it's a signature Tori sound. she pronounces many words in a very original way.

:laugh: No hate - I've been listening to her for 15 years and I still have trouble understanding her at times.

And it's not a perfect version, to be sure. I like it more for the fact that it (the whole show actually) was a tribute to her then-recently deceased brother. I've always thought it sounds like she's about to break down when the first chorus hits.
