I was going through the collection and wondered if anyone else collected Stevie 45's. Would be nice to compare notes. :wavey:

I do!:wavey: Have lots of them...and their 12" counterparts. Although now I collect a lot of CD singles. Usually go after the foreign sleeves. One of my most rare Stevie sleeves is the deleted Nightbird! What notes do you want to compare?

There are a few I have that aren't listed anywhere I have seen, and that means there are many, many more I don't have. Here are the 2 nightbird variations I have.
I also collect the 12" also. Besides NixFix any decent sites out there with pics and lists?

I love the Nightbird single, it has probably my favourite artwork of them all.
I only have the UK issue of that though.
I collect 45s (or 7" singles as we call them here) and 12" singles too. The only 12" singles I don't have are the promos for Stop Draggin'... and Nightbird.
I think FM Legacy has a pretty good list but maybe we could post scans of them all here? It would make a nice list.

I've got all the US released FM and Stevie solo picture sleeves, and a few foreign ones.
And my Silver Springs 45 has "Don't Stop" on the other side, instead of GYOW.

I think I now have around 250 45's. I've also brought this up myself, as I am a vinyl NUT! Still some random things I seek, and when the collection thread was brought up, I was going to mention vinyl, but am sure Ledgies are tired of hearing my love for it. THE RECORD kind, none of this kinky vinyl. haha.
I have MUCH to do online today, so perhaps, I can also visit my 45's, and get some quick pics up here to share. I'd say about 10% of my collection is various solo member stuff, but the bulk, BN/FM/SN. I love any excuse to look thru it and chit chat about it, so bring it on! There is one girl out there, the sweetest being on the planet. D. Sass (hope she doesn't mind me mentioning her name....are you on her chicklette????) I believe she has upwards of 800 45's. NO JOKE!
12", I have many as well, but my 45's exceed 12", but I'll get a list of that too. ANYONE w/ dupe stuff feel free to contact me. For example, the GD pic discs from TITN era....omfg, why are those so dang expensive? Actually, they in themselves aren't but shipping is up the butt! Hence, I STILL don't have those, and I've been collecting for about 17 yrs. I have plenty of dupe stuff, so I'd be happy to be of help to others as well, if possible.

Geez. I only have two...and I have them only because they came with the Timespace LP I bought on Ebay.
What's sad is I don't even know which two 45s I have. Wait..one has the Stevie in front of the flag picture on it....the other I can't remember.

I collect LP's...period. I have a lot of Mac/Stevie stuff, but they only make up about 20% of my record collection.

what is that middle BN 45? i see that it says nicks & buckingham, but i can't see any of the rest. i don't believe i've seen that one anywhere.
i collect records and 45s, but not stevie 45s. i've really been focused on FM and ABBA. I still have to get to a decent point with my beatles collection too. There just isn't enough time or space for all the records I'd like to have. A friend/co-worker of mine is a hellacious audophile. He's got over 40,000 vinyls (every available by every artist to ever have a song touch billboard since 1897). It's unbelievable to read, but it's an amazing sight. :)
i have to say, seeker, those picture discs are radical. i really, really dig them.

I have about a hundred 45's or 12". I should make a list of what I have sometime! My favorites are the Nightbirds and the Silver Springs/Go Your Own Way 45's. I also really like the Dreams/Songbird (?) 45 because it is has one of my all time favorite band pictures on the sleeve.

But I do have a copy of Man of the World with Silver Springs on the b-side, so it counts here  It's rare

The third one is "Nicks and Buckingham" (She got top billing on this one) Don't let me down again with B-side crying in the night. 1973 Polydor 2066-397
I have a few hundred lp's with the most being SN/FMAC and Kate Bush. And space becomes an issue along with the weight when you have to move them.
Thanks! :) I saw those pics only once and grabbed them and haven't seen any others like them since.

I have over 250 45's - I guess I need to put them all on a spread sheet. Not many Stevie or FM but lots from the 70's. I also have two vintage juke boxes - one for 45's and the other a 1933 beauty that plays my Mom's old 78's.

I collect 45's - only those with P/S - Stevie solo and FM Stevie era ones (and B/N too).
I have all of the US ones, many many imports, but I only pick them up if the P/S or B-side is different than the US version.
There are only a few that I am aware of that I am still missing
Over My Head (Japan)
Rhiannon (France)
If Anyone Falls/Gate and Garden (Belgium or Germany) - this one is still pretty easy to find, I'm just waiting to find one in good shape at a good price.

:D I know another collector who has it on red vinyl - even rarer lol. The label is DJM, which Danny Kirwan recorded his solo albums for. Usually this single had one of his songs (Second Chapter) as the b-side, but for some reason this one popped out as well :)

Here is the 1st of 11. 45's first, then I'll go into 12" if interested.
I too used to think that I'd collect only if it was a pic sleeve, or unique, but the more I got into it, the more I saw that even the "same" cover but diff locale made it unique in itself. Also, non p/s's are just so cool, several w/ diff labels etc. What I don't buy much of is acetone copies, cause I never know if they are really real or not. I suppose I am missing out, but I just feel that anyone can make something, and w/out a record player (though if I DID have one, I'd NEVER play the damn thing...don't wanna chance scratching vinyl) I'd never know if I pd a lot for something real or fake. Anyway, 1st pic is several BN stuff.

Pics 2,3 &4. If you see same pic covers, they are different. Maybe different countries, or vinyl inside white label, or promo copy etc. I did notice today that I have a lot of dupe stuff. Especially the TITN era Japan things. Also, Sara Japan single, ICW Japan, etc. So, my 45 count is not w/ dupes. Also, I think the 250 mark might have been a tad short, however, I swear I have more in this house. Ebay wins laying around I just haven't cataloged and filed...or I'm flat out wrong. It happens. =0p

Last 2. The last photo is "the rest." Not in a negative way. I am on a mission to find as many LB 45's as possible. I SO coveted the Holiday Road one, and now I see the Trouble Japan 45. And the C. McVie Japan 45, I had wanted that for so long, that I hadn't realized I've now purchased 2!!! Dumbass me. The very bottom 3, John Stewart, "Midnight Wind" promo copy, "Walter Egan, "Hot Summer Nights b/w "She's So Tough" (on label states Produced by LB & SN), Bob Welch "Sentimental Lady."
And yes Seeker, I do have them cataloged, but I haven't updated in a while
=0( Obviously if I had, I wouldn't have dbl the Chris. haha. Oh well, there is NO such thing as too many 45's!
Also, sorry for some flash glare. This spare room, the Stevie room (if I panned up, you'd all gasp....it's an SN museum here...) has really crappy light. But you get the gist of it.

I'm sorry =0( If you were trying to get things from that seller selling lots of items from around the world, then yes. But I was playing it really cool buying from him. While everyone else ignored certain stuff, I went for smaller lots. Some of those lots, and damn, they were all cool, got obscenely high. I was VERY fortunate to get what I got, and likely if you bought from same person, you scored, and hey....wait a minute...prolly sniped ME! heehee xo

I am surprised Goldmine is still going. Yes, I remember the days of Record shows (Do they still have them?) and it was nearly impossible to find any real info on what was out there. But prices were cheaper back then too. Of course that was over 30 years ago. :p "In my day, we had to walk through snow, uphill both ways, to get to Record shows!"....:D

I don't collect them per se, but I do have a couple. I had to get the fifth one from the left in your pic (Edge), because that background color was so beautiful, and because it was Edge. Unfortunately it plays a little warped. But I kind of like that, because if I had owned it, it would be warped, too, from me playing the sh*t out of it.
I can't believe you have BN ones, I didn't even know they made those. I want the Stand Back/Nightbird one.

That's the 1987 jukebox re-issue. The label on the record is the tan/white Warners label. The original 1976 single for GYOW has the greenish LA street scene.

Well Seeker, the room is gonna have to wait. Didn't get done. Well , it sorta did, then I got into taking pics of the vinyland such and well, it's a slobby mess again. haha
12". Well, I sure don't have as much as I'd like. Or for that matter, all that I once had. There was a time when I thought, hmmm, I am getting things like Stevie w/ such and such on CD, I guess I could give/trade or sell this LP. DUMB! I am sure that I have a few more of the soundtrack stuff in storage. I know I have Streets of Fire & Heavy Metal, as I love both those st's in general. Here however are the LP's I do have.
I did want to say that 12" is very different from 45's. Sux, cause likely, each country you have the album from, it's gonna be the same cover, whereas a 45 pic sleeve might have a varience. Gets sorta old when you look at the pics, several copies of same thing, but each from a dif place, or a diff issue. I am also a nerd for things w/ the original stickers on them. So for example, one Rumours LP was bought cause it has a "Fleetwood Mac nominated for several Grammies" sticker (w/ a penguin too!) on the cover. That to me, is a diff version. Maybe not in reality, but that's my collection and I am sticking to it!

Here is the 1st of 11. 45's first, then I'll go into 12" if interested.
omg white album picture disc. now THAT's what i'm talking about.
i'm in the process of framing one each of all the official FM/SN/LB/CM/MF albums for my guitar playing/recording space in my next home- wherever that may be. i really, really wish i could find rumours-era FM picture discs to go along with.
the white album is one of my favorite FM albums ever.. and i absolutely adore the audiophile/master recording vinyl they released in '80. i just grabbed another copy of it, but this one's on white vinyl.. which isn't listed in any of my record guides (the black vinyl version is listed). i suppose i really don't need 2 copies of it.. but i saw the white vinyl and it just looked so cool. lp's are art. plain and simple.

Nice pics! :wavey: Another fun thing about foreign copies is the translation of the lyrics. I have a chinese Rumours that has the Chinese on one side and the chinese translated into english on the other and it is a crack up! Some of it you can tell they had really no clue, or else it just didn't translate right. Why they didn't just TRANSCRIBE rather than reverse translate is beyond me, but it is a fun Lp.
