Hey Everyone,

I wanted to thank all of you for your input about the show in Maui last night.

What actually happend were 2 seperate shows at the Grand Wielea (sp) Resort. The first was on the 18th and the 2nd was just last night, in the same venue.

We were lucky enough to have found the sound engieneer with the AV services firm that provided sound for the event. He took my daughter "Misty" to the show with him for some upfront music with Stevie in a very intimate room ( less than 200 people).

As you can see, she was only a coulpe of people back and must have cried at lease 12 times.

Thanks again, to all of you ledg ies.. Thank You... We will see you at Cesars Palace in March.

THats so awsome! that you got to experience Stevie in a smaller intamate setting. Great pics, she looks good. I like the gloves. Reminds me of the blue denim video.or of the TITN video. thanx for posting:)

Stevie almost looks metal in this picture. The gloves and the shawl which has a almost metal-studded effect to my eyes, Rob Halford would be proud

Okay... somebody please photoshop a leather biker cap to complete this decidedly unladylike ensemble. You would think that, being in Hawaii and all, she would be wearing orchids in her hair and spinning around in a grass skirt. Instead, she looks like she's the featured entertainment on Folsom Street! :eek:

Nah, it would not be stupid. She looked stunning with the flower in her hair at Stormy Weather. Very elegant. The gloves in Hawaii are just odd. :lol:

Leather AND lace may sound good together in a song, but they sure don't look good together on Stevie.

I think you may be onto something. I don't mind her wearing gloves, but I think those are ugly. They look like regular snow gloves, only longer. I think they look too bulky.

Great pictures!! I really hope that I get a chance to see her this summer because it will be my first time.:o She needs to do some shows on the East coast!!! I'm very jealous of all of you who have seen her many times. :( :(

When did the info about this show come out? I need to pay more attention.... a couple months ago I heard she was going to perform in Maui. So every now and then I'd look to see if tickets were on sale, but never saw anything... and I live on Oahu! So close... oh well.........

It was a private show, corporate gig type of thing. Tickets did not go on sale to the public, unfortunately.

I love the gloves. they may not exactly work with this outfit tho. when she wore them in Berkeley she looked amazing.

Thanks! Maybe it's the picture itself that is making me not like them. When I saw her perform at the Superbowl, I thought she looked really good, dress and everything. Then I saw the pics that were posted here and it was like it was from a different show all together!
