I know we are all proud of Stevie and love her to death.... What is it that makes you proud to be a Stevie fan?

For me, it is the fact that she is almost 60 and still rocks 1,947% harder than any of today's musicians....... She is just purely amazing!!!:]

What are your thoughts?

Take Care,
Ethan

I'm proud to be a fan of Stevie's because she's a hell of a good singer and songwriter. She moves me like not a lot of other artists can do....she stirs my soul. I think she's ultra cool with a style all her own. She's been around a long time because she's passionate about what she does for the right reasons. She's what legends are made of.

How many variations on the same question can one person possibly think of?

I'm fan and I just enjoy it. I don't need to be proud. Cause being a fan is just a personal decision, a matter of taste and what you like, some people like us love Stevie (and Fleetwood Mac), and some don't. I never thought that being fan of somebody is a matter of pride, nor shame of course.. don't missunderstand me I don't criticize you guys but.. why to be proud? I don't get it.

^^ that was exactly my thought when i read the question.

i love and respect stevie as an artist, and there have been times that i am proud of her. but proud of myself for being her fan? sorry. i hope i have a few other accomplishments in my life i'm more proud of!

 I know. I actually don't think I've even had moments where I was proud of her. Maybe a few times when I watched certain performances that kicked ass. But that was mostly me being impressed.

My pride is not with myself as a fan but with Stevie's endurance. She's been in the business for how long now? Close to forty years!!

In all her pecularities, her life is all about music and she's never stopped rocking. And she's among a very small group of artists who have balanced being in a band as well as having a successful solo career. And her style is authentic; she's never wavered from it (for better or worse).

At this point I think she deserves a solo nomination in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

I myself am ashamed far more often than proud to be a Stevie Nicks fan.

If to be proud means to keep my admiration for her, without projecting on her what I would like her to be, or linking her to her image in the past, then I am proud.

Like the other people I'm a fan of I find in her talent something very personal, that inspires me and soothes me.

with all this ashamament (yes, I just created that word), I think we should all wear a big, scarlet "A" on our chests.

it's the only way. hopefully, one day another #1 song or album will allow us to be set free from the chains of our silly fandom.

I believe a scarlet "S", in the font used for CV would be more appropriate.
