Okay, I know, not a huge deal, except when Insider, Live just came on and I started sobbing. They're playing on a regular radio station. :p
Now Learning to Fly is on. With Stevie's little voice. At first they started with Down South, then Southern Accents. I was like "oh, that's nice, they did a couple live Tom songs in a row" Then...THEN...."YOU'VE GOT A DANGEROUS BACKGROUND..."
 :blob2: :blob2:

I don't know why I'm so excited, I was at the shows and all. Wait, of course I'm excited, it's Tom & Stevie live, what I thought I'd never see myself, and what I didn't suspect I'd hear on my radio station. I hope they do a third song...nope...
still.

Verklempt, that's me.

Wow. I would die if I heard those on the radio, too. That is great. I keep requesting Angel, but no dice yet. I think most of my DJ's have that "FM was not cool back in the day if you were hip and edgy, and that's what age I am, and I'm still prejudiced".

I always love it when you bring this song up. It reminds me to play the older live version. It still brings chills... For those few who don't have it, here it is.

Amber - what is it from? The Florida shows that were recoded for Soundstage? How cool to hear it on the radio.

I know, I was seriously thinking of sending the station that version. Then I said to myself "okay, it's fine, stop being crazy"

They said live from the Fillmore, but I don't think Tom and Stevie were at the Fillmore, else I'm sure I would have gone. So it was probably at the Greek, because it is the radio station's own live recording, and where else would they get it? Maybe the first two songs, Southern Accents and Down South were from way a long time ago at the Fillmore (they said something about "about 10 years ago, live at the Fillmore" when they introduced it), but then they also added on the two songs from the Greek. That's my best guess, anyway.
