i was watching ugly betty this morning & saw that there was a stevie mention on the latest episode~ betty recently broke up w/ her longtime beau & has a crush on a nerdy co-wrker~ the co-wrker mentions that his girlfriend was moving to NYC & right after betty met a girl in the cafeteria that ends up being her crushes girl~ but she likes the girl & asks her to a fashion show~ they decide to take the subway & while waiting, betty sees another devious co-wrker's face (amanda) in some of the people waiting for the train & they all keep telling her to do bad things to betty's crushes girlfriend~ one of the statements were "throw stevie nicks under the train" refering to the beret wearing girlfriend~ i was cracking up!!!~

wow. that's such an obscure reference seeing that the girl was wearing a beret. someone must be a big fan to really connect the two.

Wow. Shawls, handkerchief hemlines, chiffon, boots and now berets. Stevie's got a monopoly on fashion references.

and apparently her crystal visions are working. it's kind of a koinkydink that Stevie's new album cover features a beret.

I'll bet 7 Wonders called up the producers of Ugly Betty & urged them to put in the Stevie beret reference in anticipation of the CD's release. :nod:

If you go to ABC.com you can watch the full episode from last night, it's about 19 minutes in. It's pretty funny and IMO only a real Stevie fan (on that show) could have come up with a reference like that related to Stevie and the girl wearing the beret.

"Gene Kelly from Singin' in the Rain!"

"Yeah, but you're just going to tell everyone you're a sailor, right?"

If you go to ABC.com you can watch the full episode from last night, it's about 19 minutes in. It's pretty funny and IMO only a real Stevie fan (on that show) could have come up with a reference like that related to Stevie and the girl wearing the beret.Meh, you can only watch them if you live in the States. :rolleyes: I'll ask my sis if she has it.

Chiffonheads are everywhere! I heard that reference and saw the beret and couldn't stop laughing. It was obscure but not for a chiffonhead! No wonder I love Ugly Betty so much, it's written by fellow chiffonheads!

The next to last episode, when the mother of the kid who got "beat up" came over, and the two ladies were having words...and he says, "SNAP!".
That was a Kodak moment.
