So, when it comes to these things, what scares you the most??????

Much Love,

This is a hard one for me..... Like, when I am reading something or watching something on tv, ghosts freak me out...... But if I were reading something with a character who has like telekenetic powers or whatever, I would be afraid something would fly up and hit me in the head......

Anyway, that's just my thought.

Did you mean Cereal Killer? As in someone knocking off bears, rabbits, leprechauns, kings, tigers, tucans, koo-koo birds, etc?
Then "YES"! THAT IS horrifying!

I kind of wanted to get an idea of what scares people the most because I was wanting to write a book...... Kind of a "scary" book if you get my drift, so these are the better options, although if you all have other things that scare you that could be used in a horror book, please let me know...

Yeah, although I've been known to kill a box or two of cerial in my time. I like to sneak in through the window, and make my way down the hall. I keep my knife in my hand at all times, just in case the cerial hears me coming(I've been known to groan loudly:sorry:  ) Then, I sneak into the kitchen, up behind that wascal. Then cut that damned rabbit's head off, and submerge it in a bowl of milk, until he's completely motionless, almost to the point of being soggy. Then I eat it, because dammit... Trix aren't for kids!

My favorite water thing to do, is to go out in the ocean, when the surf is rough, and have it repeatedly pick me up and throw me. I just get the living **** beat out of me! I was bleeding all down one side, last time I did it. Fun, fun, fun.

Well, I MUCH prefer dry humor to dumb humor, but it's all good ;)

my fear of water is from this:
Up until about 3 years ago I could not breathe out of the Right side of my nose. So I always had this fear of suffocating because of this. So anything that required me to hold my breath was hell. I can't go under water without holding my nose :o So because of that-I can't swim. I mean, I can kinda hold myself above water, but not without a struggle. I love swimming pools and going out in the ocean, but once it is above my head-no way.

And not to mention, I've almost drowned twice (One was at holiday world in the wave pool!!!!)

Sharks with friggin' laser beams on their head!

My god, I didn't even know I was the most scared of that till you said! Do you think that would be, say, more or less scary than bears with laser beams on their heads?

Bears can already break into your car to eat your savory snacks/kill you - with laser beams, they'd be fricking unstoppable...If cars were in water, do you think sharks could break into them with sheer force, like bears do? I think not. Because bears have hands, and are smarter. And can apparently smell more savory things. Did you know you have to lock up your deoderant while camping or bears might smell/want to eat it?!?!?! My god. Still, I think sharks would be the most watery fearsome car breaking leg chomping animal. On the good side, I think after a shark attacked you, your deoderant and trail mix would still be intact. You could still eat it with that one arm you had remaining. When you got out of the emergency room and off liquids...

did you see that show, where it presented how sharks have learned to work in packs? Or maybe they always did, but we never knew it? (It was in the Australia area, near some awesomely well populated famous reef).

So now, sharks are like wolves. Except in water. Wolf packs are hella scary too, but not so much to humans. But if we hadn't killed most of them, I would be hella scared of wolves.
Also, I'm scared of mountain lions sometimes, because on my parents' road some runner chick was attacked by one. Which happens quite a bit in these Tahoe-ey, foothilly communities. Still and all, I'd like to say, if I had to be killed violently, I'd rather it be by a mountain lion. Circle of life, and me loving cats, and being pissed about the mountain lions' devastation of ecosystem and all...

But overall I voted for Cerial killers. And right after that, I voted that "bad spellers" were the most scariest thing. But I have to be honest, on a day to day regular basis, bad spellers instill the most fear in my heart. Sure, I like Cereal. and Serial killers are scary. But if you combine the two, I'm thinking of someone who is so hopped up on Trix and Lucky Charms, and Cocao (Coco) Crispies, that they lose their mind and start slaying the innocent. Serially. And if someone had that much sugar in their diet, that could very well happen. I heard that Jeffrey Dahmer had hypoglycemia...too many sugary cereal carbs caused him to crave meat to such a degree that...etc....
Coco Crispies are really good, though.

And spiders are great little creatures. Cleverly functioning and THINK of all the mosquitoes they catch. Trust me, they are my heroes! And welcome in my house and yard!
When you look at them up close they are so well-engineered and so pretty. Also THINK of what they can do. Web-weaving looks complicated!!! And they cannot have more than pinbrains in those tiny lil heads, but they manage it! Awe-inspiring. Seriously.

Sas

Spiders are my favorite bug, and I hate bugs. I mean, I'm really scared of bugs. Australia spiders scare me extra, and black widows/brown recluses. But - I probably wouldn't run into those spiders, and in the meantime I love their ability to eat other bugs. So. Cool. They're like my cat who eats bugs, but more constant, efficient, and under the radar. Though way, way, less cute and charming than my cat when he eats bugs. But cats are just cuter than bugs. No matter how much you appreciate bugs.

Australia has the most poisonous spiders , so I might be scared if I went there, (looking for funnel webs),
but they also have the most poisonous snakes and the worstest sharks. And still, people there manage to live. So, my fear of bugs is somewhat tempered by logic...
And spiders have always been my "favorite" anyway. Cause they eat other bugs, and stay out of my way. And are amazing evolutionary, and all that, etc. etc. . Bugs in general are pretty amazing evolution wise, but still mostly creepy. You know, they do all these amazing things, but I'm still totally creeped out by bugness. Present me with a wasp/yellow jacket/bee/meat bea/hornet and I'll go runnin'. Down whatever road you choose.

Clowns. But don't write a book about that, it's been done.

But the other day my sister was driving and she passed a clown - and was so distracted that she'd slowed down after seeing this in her rear-view mirror - this INFURIATED the clown who then began driving very aggressively and was being totally scary to my sister

damn miss v
keep yourself safe - how long has it been going on?

I first heard about it a couple of months ago, but apparently it's been going on all year and police suspect that the culprit may be responsible for a string of rapes from a few years back, too.

Here's an article about it from last week:

Vacaville Police On Hunt For Serial Rapist
POSTED: 6:53 pm PST December 14, 2006
UPDATED: 8:28 pm PST December 14, 2006

VACAVILLE -- Vacaville police are looking for a man who they believe is responsible for four rapes in the city since January and who may have committed four other unsolved sexual assaults dating back to 2003.

At a news conference Thursday morning, police Chief Richard Word and Lt. Craig Courtemanche said the four rapes since January occurred in the southeast area of the city.

All the assaults have occurred in ground-floor apartments or houses where the suspect did not have to force entry, police said. Investigators believe he conducts surveillance before the assaults to make sure the women will be alone and that he waits inside for them to come home. Some have been attacked while sleeping.

The ages of the victims range from 38 to 64.

A January attack took place in the 1100 block of Meadowlark Drive. The rapist struck again in June, in the 200 block of Demarest Drive, and then on Oct. 30 in the 400 block of Arcadia Drive.

In Tuesday's incident, the man entered a home in the 1100 block of Farmington Way through a sliding glass door, police said. When the woman came home from work around 5:15 p.m., the man ordered her at gunpoint to take off her clothes and then assaulted her for hours. Police were notified around 9:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, the suspect was wearing a dark stocking cap and a blue bandanna over his face, police said. In all of the assaults, the suspect is described the same way: as a black man in his early 20s who is 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slight build.

Victims have described the suspect's actions and characteristics consistently, police said, but the most recent was the first to report seeing a gun.

"We're concerned the level of force is escalating," Courtemanche said.

Police also said they have physical evidence connecting the assaults.

A profile of the suspect from the state Department of Justice indicates he is not well educated, is socially inept and does not have a demanding job.

"We are going to catch this guy. He's a coward," Word said.

The city of Vacaville has offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to the suspect's arrest and conviction.

Vacaville detectives have spent more than 1,000 hours investigating the assaults and the Police Department has asked for help from neighboring agencies as well as state and federal authorities.

Word and Courtemanche said they have been in contact with Sacramento police to compare their cases to those involving the so-called Norcal rapist, who has attacked from Chico to Rohnert Park since 1991 and recently in the Sacramento area. They do not believe the Vacaville rapist is the same person.

Anyone with information that could help investigators is urged to call a Vacaville police tip line at (707) 449-5722 or Detective Patrick Cowan at (707) 469-6621.
