On December 15th at 9 P.M. ET/ PT, VOOM HD Network’s RAVE HD will present the world premiere of “Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers: Live From Gatorville,” a special concert featuring Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. Catch the band as they return to Gainesville, FL, where it all started, to play their first hometown show in 13 years. The performance was shot on September 21st, with Stevie Nicks joining the band on stage for several songs. RAVE HD will air additional showings of this two-hour special event during the holiday season. Additional holiday airings include December 24th at 10 P.M. ET, December 25th at 8 P.M. ET, December 27th at 3 P.M. ET and December 29th at 9 P.M. ET.

I've had my brand new big ol TV, and recordable DVR now for like 2 months. AND, I have this fab channel! Blows all "music channels" to crap-land! Will def mark this recorded. Great thing about this channel if anyone has it...things repeat a gazillion times over, so if you have it and miss it, or it records wrong, I'll have a mecca of opps to re-do! Thanks for the heads up!

Isn't it being released on dvd also? I thought I read that on the Petty board awhile back :shrug: I don't get that channel but thank's for the heads up any way:thumbsup:

Yeah, I think it is supposed to be released as a DVD. And the Bogdanovich documentary as well!

but RAVE HD is a part of the DishHD service, man that sucks ass...

I'm sure this show will appear online.


Edit: Ya know what sucks, We could've had DishHD for free (Since Deb & myself are already customers with a single satellite connection and the new 500 series satellite receiver) had we signed up for the DVR package, But since I own a Panasonic DVD-R recording I didnt think we needed a similar electronic gadget...Foo-ey!
