Interesting, but you're right they toured the US then. And the seller states that he does not know much about the posters either...

Is that Mick Fleetwood on the poster?:D

"SOME HAVE TAPE DOWN THE MIDDLE, SOME HAVE SMALL PIN HOLES, SOME ARE WRINKLED, SOME LOOK VERY OLD AND SOME LOOK FARLEY MODERN AND NEW".

Ummm .... how about this individual item, seller? Does this one have pinholes, wrinkles etc.? And what the heck is "FARLEY"? LOL

I never can understand why people bother to post stuff on eBay with such a horrifyingly bad description. And the photo doesn't tell you anything either.

No wonder he only expects $5.00 for the item.

I suspect the poster is meant to be Mick Fleetwood, yes. But man, is it ugleeeeeee.

I've seen photos of this poster on the web before, and not sure what to make of it. The info I've seen indicates that the band played in Vancouver on that date (makes sense since they played in Seattle on the 17th). Maybe there had been a European tour scheduled for early 1970 and the tour schedules were later changed? So possibly these posters were printed for a date that was later changed?

Yes, I think you are probably right in your theory about a schedule change. If I'm not mistaken, this Poster was originally printed as a generic blank that could later have Concert Details added, so that it could be used for more than one show. There is a photo of the blank in Mick Fleetwood's book: "My Twenty-five Years In Fleetwood Mac". I have seen the Poster used for a Concert with different dates than those shown in this example. I can't recall what the date and venue were, but if memory serves, it was a U.S. performance. These ones that are up for auction on 'eBay' look to be cheap reproductions (probably on a miniature scale to the original) which was huge: 33 1/4" x 47"

Cheers, Don

Jeremy, always good to see you posting here! Do you recall whether there may have been a change in tour plans for the beginning of 1970? Still can't figure out why that Munich poster has a date of 18 January when the band wasn't there at that time.

Jeremy, I apologize, I really didn't mean to hurt you!!! :xoxo:
I'd say, Mick is half a meter above all the other members!

Fleetwood Mac certainly is a band full of ... contrasts ... in every sense of the word.
