Blues Heaven,

On a recent trip to Chicago I went to the site of the recording studio used for Fleetwood Mac’s Blues Jam in Chicago” . Chess Studios on 2120 South Michigan Ave is now a historic landmark run by The Willie Dixon Family. It is a non profit organization run to preserve the Legacy of Willie’s music as well as Chess studios as well. They own the building. Inside are whatever recording equipment that they still have from that time. The Rolling Stones made 12 x 5 there. What I noticed most of all was that they could use real memorabilia from that time in that studio. Ron Wood who was not in the Stones during that recording donated a drawing of himself and a book or two. Hillary Clinton gave them two Yamaha Pacifica Guitars (things that were probably given to her in Japan). There was some Muddy Water stuff and a guitar and boots from Lonnie Brooks. Ther3e were old Record Jackets from “The Dells” as well as plaster cast faces of many blues legends. I am writing this to inquire from the Fleetwood Mac Community at large, since part of Fleetwood Macs Legacy is in that building, is if there are people who have any artifacts or even old record covers or stuff from that era they might want to consider donating it to be displayed at the museum. I do not know if there will ever be a Fleetwood Mac Museum, but to me this place seems more appropriate than lets say “the hose of Blues” or “The Hard Rock Café”. What do you think? This is the website listed below

I hadn't heard of this, thanks for the link!

Great idea! Fleetwood Mac (and Peter Green in particular) need to be represented at 2120.
