The label is platinum and it is a live recording , it says further more

and also original producer :hot wax productions.

record 1 side a has a very long version of "Rattlesnake shake" wich i would love to have on disc , (it has a great guitar solo that goes on forever)
anyone know or has this track?

other tracks are:
record1 side b:

Red Hot Mama
Green Manalishi

record2 side a:
Madison Blues
Sandy Mary
Stranger Blues
Great Balls Of Fire
Jenny Jenny

record 2 side b:

Teenage Darling
Loving kind
Tutti Frutti

record3 side a:

Like It This Way
World In Harmony
Only You

record3 side b:
Black Magic Woman
Jumpin At Shadows
Can't Hold On

The sleeve is black and has the face of an eagle (i Asume) with yellow lettering
it further says on the back bottom:
including lp-no. 24076,24077,24082

and
9043/3 in bigger letters under that

any help would be apriciated i'm loving this set ;)

I don't have it but I've seen it a couple of times - nice cover. It looks from the track listing like the same recordings as the Live in Boston / Boston Tea Party 1970 sets - out on CD in a three volume set - Snapper Records.

indeed most of the tracks seem similair
and there is also a 24 minute version of shake one the boston set (i've got those cd's)
but it is (or it is just my imagination) a tad dissimilair , like it is from the same tour but from another show.
I must listen again more closely when i can crank upthe volume some more
cause it's late but i'm pretty sure
than again who am i ;)

I have this one too. It has a red washed cover with a picture of a woman sporting an afro hair style. It is on the Epic label and says "previously released as Fleetwood Mac and English Rose, so the songs are different that what's on your album. The date is worn off, but the inside says it's a Blue Horizon Recording produced by Mike Vernon. Wanna trade?!? I think I would like the sound of your version better!

It's the Boston recordings, yes, most if not all of these tracks are on the 3cd Snapper set. But one of the tracks is incomplete on the 3cd set and not on lps, can't remember which, Green Manalishi possibly..

So it is... I have one of those Boston Tea Party LPs, on yellow vinyl. The track listing is the same as record 3 of the aforementioned BMW set.

Yup, as the others have said it's a repackage of the Tea Party stuff that was out in the 80's (one of the few that contained all 21 tracks that were out back then). I do have a note of this to add to the new discog once we get caught up with building up the content that is there.

Yeah, there have been a few FM releases under the BMW title like someone said about earlier on the PG'sFM/ER repackage etc.

"Rattlesnake shake" on this is the same as the RS on Vol. 2 of the Snapper reissues (though Snapper very well may have taken the liberty of remixing it a little bit for their disc) it will be missing a 10 second snippet on the Platinum LP you have about 20 minutes in to the track but aside from that, no major differences.

A version of this "blackbird" cover release was also released on CD in the US by Commander in '88 called "Live" (though it was just one disc & excluded RS & the "Live in Boston" (1984)/"Jumping At Shadows" (1985) tracks (Oh Well, Like It This Way, World In Harmony, Only You, Black Magic Woman, Jumping At Shadows & Can't Hold Out). This will be added to the discog once we get caught up as well. :)

It's good to know that someone here has the Platinum set though so I can come back to you to maybe get a jpg scan of the cover (etc.) for when we do get to adding new stuff in? :)

That's right, dino - "Green Manalishi" is edited on the Snapper set by over 3-1/2 minutes. I believe all or almost all of the portion that was edited out is of Greeny playing the congas following his six-string bass solo, and frankly I think the track sounds better in the edited version. The conga section just doesn't go anywhere. I have the full version on the "Cerulean" double LP from the mid-'80s.

Listening to that unedited version of "GM" again, I realize it's that lengthy conga break that made that track seem boring to me, and seem so self-indulgent on Peter's part. Since that was the only live version of "GM" I had to listen to for many years, that impression had been drilled into me. Taking out the conga section tightens up the track considerably in my opinion. Still nice to have the option of listening to the full or edited versions though.

lol yes i saw this version you have to in the ledge discography but realised it was other material when i saw the tracklisting ;)

yes i realised that when i was scroling trough the discography , wich i though i would do first incase i would have posted a stupid thread ;)

great i can relax in piece now , knowing it IS the same source but the boston sets are just remixed somewhat and some editing was done

Yes i'd be happy to to that ofcourse

i will have to dive in to this track aswell later to see if i find it as unapealing (can't bring myself to say boring when it comes to peter's playing)
as you say it is
