I was there.....Stevie is in fact on the choruses of American Girl, but she was not on stage for The Waiting. Stevie and Eddie had some "dualing tambourine" action during American Girl, which was great.

edit: Actually this pick is from Whiteriver, WA I believe where Vedder appeared along with Stevie. Stevie wasn't with Tom at Summerfest - that was back on June 30th. Are the tracks posted from June 30th or July 30th?? It says July 30th Summerfest, but Tom Petty was in Seattle on July 30th and that wasn't Summerfest.

Me too! (Sorry, I don't have any.)

Clearly, Eddie's tambourine was not of the same tambo-matic quality as Stevie's, as it did not survive its fierce competition. The skin tore while he was playing it so he put his head through it at the end of the song and tossed it into the audience.........

Anyway, I realize that Stevie was at Montreaux Jazz on 6/30, and so could not have been at the show singing with Eddie and Tom. In my post on the Tom Petty thread about the third leg of the tour, I couldn't hear Stevie and had asked any other downloaders to let me know if they could hear her*, but it wouldn't have been a question, if I had looked at the dates. I corrected the info on that post, BTW.
In any case, they are good recordings.
I hope someone comes up with one from the Seattle show. At least we have the pic!

Guys, i've been looking on this thread and been searching through the massive tom petty post trying to find the actual date for this show????
Im listening to it right now, and i can hear Stevie singing backup. Now i know RagandBone has said that they edited the date on the tompetty thread yet i still see it as 30/06 summerfest.... Is this what this file is?? Vedder sang on this?? Coz i cant hear him or hear him sing any lyrics :confused:

I thought I heard Stevie too, but it can't be, because Stevie was at the Montreux Fest on 6/30, and that is the date of the two recordings for the Summerfest show with Pearl Jam. The show with Eddie Vedder, and Stevie and Tom is 7/30 White River.
