Magazines

I don't own any magazines with articles about Stevie in them. The only thing I have done is gone to the library, and used the Reader's Guide to Periodical Literature to make copies of articles on microfiche. And of course I have read the articles at nickfix.com and the Blue Letter Archives.

So what magazines do you all have? Do any of them have articles that are not archived somewhere on the internet?

If I were going to buy some magazines, these two might be my first choices. Love these covers.

I have read the BAM article at nicksfix.com. I don't know about that Smash Hits one.

That Smash Hits is one thing I can't seem to get my hands on. I was thinking of bidding this go round, but eh.....dunno. This & the High Times one =0( I need those.

As for other mag covers....the Bam is the winner for most fab mag cover. IMO. But others??? There are SOOOOOOOOOO many. I'll try and take some pics of what I have and attach them this weekend. I used to want to make one wall devoted to SN/FM covers, but really for as many as there are, there aren't that many. Make sense? Like say you wanted to do that for Madonna, you'd need a friggin Mansion to hold all her covers. SN/FM ones not quite as many.

i need the smash hits too, the cover is wonderful~ i have the bam & covet it bigtime, i am a big lover of that beret look~ i remember in the 80's stevie & or the mac seemed to be in every mag out there, it is great fun finding stevie treasures in them~

I know some people were seeking the SN Bam mag cover. Right now there is a listing up w. the LB Bam cover also. Dunno, many of you may seek both, but was thinking of bidding, but I only want the LB one. Anyone wanna split??? If not, and someone seeks both, I'll prolly stay away.

Is Hit Parader the same as Smash Hits? Because I am trying to figure out if that Smash Hits magazine at the top has something about Stevie I have never read before. I have read this January 1982 Hit Parader (http://bla.fleetwoodmac.net/index.php?page=index_v2&id=181&c=11), but this Smash Hits thing I don't know about.
