So hot, thanks Jason!

Ok so I'm a bit of a chiffonhead but looking at these pictures everyone else seems to fade in the background. It's so freaking obvious to me who the star is (and this is just my opinion people so please don't be mad). I don't even want to look at the other people *hides under covers*. I can't help it, I'm looking at these shots and I just stare at Stevie but we all know I'm a Stevie fan before a FM fan. I love the band but I love my Stevie more!

Your right but you know how people can be, as in "how dare she say Stevie is the star of that band!" but to me, she totally is and I need to own that damnit! :nod:

At that time FM=La Nicks - there is no question about that. That is not to say the others were not great or even more musically talented thab La Nicks -but she was at the end of being the Queen of Rock and Roll - and them's the facts.

And see for me I don't even give a shit who's more musically talented, she's the Queen and always will be to me. The other members of FM are all extremely talented in their own right but I just don't care about them :D.

P.S. Did anybody see Mick on that stupid talent search last night as a guest judge?

Having been a former male model, I consider the way you look and carry yourself a talent equal to the way you play. I can sing as well, but they are both a talent to me. Many differ on this, but I do not.

ahhh...but to have been the queen for so many years and still have a tight grasp on her world. it's something not many have or will achieve. to me, she will always be the queen.

I agree -- and, mind you, I LOVE CM sometimes even more than La Nicks as WHY has gotten me through many a night - but CM, as great as she is, never has captured my imagination on stage like La Nicks, which, IMO, is part of CM's draw. Its apples and oranges to me.

child yes. there have been many I see that are gorgeous and I think, damn, she's gonna work it out...then she gets on stage and walks around collecting dollar bills...and it bums me out.

so, in conclusion, CM is a boring drag queen? lol. just kidding. I love ole girl.

The fab Marcella strikes again. Those are great, and I agree with all your chiffonese expressions above - but I really don't like to look at Tango pics, or any after until the hair has gone away.
This is still marginally not very offputting hair, but it's the absolute line.
And the outfits. I just can't do it. 1987-1995? Very few pics I like.
She still looks purty, though.
Christine really is more fabulous heard than seen.

No, I forgot to include the brief period of Tuskpoodle in my utter hatred. All feathers are okay by me, and all early straight hair. Even occasional clipped back bangs hair during WH ish is fine. My favorite is in the Insider video, and the SDMHA video. Cute bangs over her forehead, hair long and pretty even at the bottom, not too frizzy at the sides...those little braidy things...so cute.

Oh, and all I meant about Christine is that she isn't the huge flamboyant show woman. Which is fine.

Either that or Lindsey, among arteurs like Chaplin and Brian Wilson, cites Steven Urkel as an influence. (Lindsey looks very adolescent/school picture day in these pictures.)

So, if all artist start with the same hieghtened ability (voice, bone structure, rythm, etc. ) and all have to work to enhance it (gym, rehearsal, etc. ) - then I fail to see the difference. Sadly, people are mostly IMO prejudice against the pretty. Such is life :laugh:

I agree that it's hard to take your eyes off Stevie, and she is my favorite. And Lindsey, of course, is always yummy :laugh: But I also have to add that this to me is when John was his hottest!:)

I'm probably one of the few in here who remembers them from the 70's--that tells you my age :laugh:

This is about the tail end of when all of them were really cool-looking.

After this, they all just started looking like grocery shoppers.

After this, they all just started looking like grocery shoppers.Lindsey only got better looking after Tango. I hate the way he looks here, but during the early 90's and then later The Dance, he looked almost his best. I say almost, because nothing beats 78-82.

Personally, I think Lindsey looked haggard and worn out during The Dance and shortly before - compared to what he looks like now. Maybe it was the work he had done and the weight he lost that did the trick.

Nicks and the others look pretty good in these shots.

I hate Lindsey's hair. Once he grew it out he looked a lot better. The rest of those Tango shots were so obviously airbrushed. It annoys me, I can't even look at them.

What?! No way! The Tango look is by far my favourite (yes, he does look lickable/edible in these pics) but the Dance isn't that far behind it. Why do you say he looks worn out? :shrug: Just curious!

Yeah, Stevie looks so great here. I love the hair but especially the clothes ... who would have guessed that pink and the GDW shawl would look so great together? Not I!

why is christine the only one smiling?? ha ha. I mean, I didn't expect Stevie to smile. She never smiles. John isn't frowning, but doesn't necessarily look like he's hangin' the moon here.

Not that this really surprises me. They were on the brink of destruction..if not already. just curious. :cool:
