well. there is definately a difference between "rockin" and "dark" so I don't know. I know edge has some dark content, but it makes me get up and dance not float off into a "gold dust woman zone"! But I dont' think OSTR is necessarily "rockin'..ugh. .decisions, decisions.

I know what you mean, but I do think it rocks - it's so dark, so insidious - it just creeps up on you & gets really heavy, even if the tempo isn't fast. And live versions? Oh my.

Dark and insidious totally! And if we were basing these on live, there's no way I'd be voting for this to go. I think it needs that fastness to be rocking though. That's why I'll be happy (for once) if Edge wins this. It has all three elements.

i love this song (this is such a contradicing post) but i have, no matter what anyone thinks, it's about abuse...and i don't likt ie. the lyrics and music are great, but i get a scary vibe from it.
