Thanks for the link.

That's pretty good. Fergie looks better, has a good voice. She looks like a puffacemonster now.

Jason,

Heheh ... I stumbled upon this last week, I think. Is it not hilarious? And a bit,um, awful??? I apologize if you love it.

And I LOVED that show when I was growing up. I would get up early on Saturday mornings just to watch it. I didn't watch the one with the cast that sang SW, though. I watched the one when Martika was on ...

I could say something about Fergie. But I'll probably end up pissing people off, so I won't.

Go for it, this isn't a Fergie board.

Thanks Jaz, that was actually pretty good with the exception of the white guy, he totally sucked. Stacy has a fabulous voice, she was destined to be a star. I was a HUGE fan of Kids Inc. and was glued to the TV every Sat morning waiting for it to start and Stacy was always my favorite. I'd think to myself, "wow, she's so pretty". Too bad she didn't stay that way.

I wonder if the kids knew who Fleetwood Mac were at the and/or if they cared. Better yet, I wonder what Stevie would have thought if she saw this (which I highly doubt she did). It's one thing to have adults covering your music but kids are a whole different story, how flattering.

After seeing this I'm convinced Fergie is the obvious choice to play Stevie in the upcoming Stevie movie. J/K!

That now she looks like the Puff Face Monster?

God, I loved Seven Wonders when it came out, and couldn't figure out who it was by. So many potential Stevie-years wasted. I mean, the few times I heard it on the radio I had conniptions.

At least you rememered it when it came out. I only heard it years later when I became a Stevie fan but never realized at the time it came out it was Fleetwood Mac nor did I pay much attention to the song. Seven Wonders is actually one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs.
My favorite part is the drums after "the rainbows end" boom boom boom boom and Stevie's voice on "So it's hard to find someone with that kind of intensity (although I had no idea what she was saying there for the longest time).

I know that on the show, Martika sang "Go Insane"...not Stevie related but someone on that show liked Fleetwood Mac some. :)

Wow, I never heard them sing Stand Back, but I do remember the episode where the Chipmunks sang "Talk To Me".

I missed all of the good stuff on Kids Inc. because I was watching the damn Mickey Mouse Club. Lousy late 80's tv!

I think Martika would be pleased to know that two people were thinking about her at the same time. Probably hasn't happened in awhile.

Actually Martika and her husband Michael Mozart's band Oppera is actually really good IMHO. I've seen them twice in Atlanta and in Athens, GA. They toured with Pat Benetar and headlined a few smaller venues on their own last year. Their two CDs have been very strong, but haven't broken the Billboard 200 at all unfortunately even with Eminem picking up "Toy Soldiers" for his rap song of the same name. If you haven't heard the song or seen the video, I'll load it up...I don't like him, BUT I was glad he used her ORIGINAL voice track for the chorus!

Unlike Fergie (or Fergie "Pee-Pants" as I like to call her after she wet her pants at a concert!), Martika is truly a talented on her own merit and absolutely stunning in person as well as in pictures. She changes her look like a chameleon, so if you saw a picture you didn't like...well, she's likely to change her look within a short period! Here's a few recent shots:

Martika looks a little bit like Alanis Morrisette in those pics above, I think. Her hubby is scary looking!!!!!

Martika & Stacy were my faves on the show.
