in the July 2006 Allure magazine with Kate Hotashell Beckinsale on the cover they talk about how to set the mood for romance...one suggestion is candles...it begins by saying "you don't want your home to feel like a Stevie Nicks video...scatter a few votives"

I think the key was a few votives. They're saying, you don't want your house to look like an SN video, so just use a few.
