thanks for all these gems.oh, don't mention it, it's no big deal. I'm just trying to get my cassettes transferred to CD so I can throw them out. I need the storage space!

There is something I need, however, if anyone happens to have it: the Denny Somack-hosted Stevie Nicks radio show from 1981. It was about a two-hour show, & my cassette literally snapped apart. I've heard old MP3s of it, but they were crappy quality.

I knew that Prince was responsible for the duh-duh-duh-duh-duh part of "Stand Back", but I never knew he had also done the doo DOO, doo DOO doo DOO part also. And I guess by the "middle part" she means the springy sounding bridge part that they replace with a guitar live.

I knew that Prince was responsible for the duh-duh-duh-duh-duh part of "Stand Back", but I never knew he had also done the doo DOO, doo DOO doo DOO part also.I think that's essentially all he did on the song. To Stevie it must have seemed a big deal, but these parts are typical dance/club music parts that are on hundreds of recordings, probably even many Prince recordings. Prince just turned "Stand Back" into a club song with two simple steps.

I'm so bummed that YouSendIt doesn't seem to be working consistently. If people still can't get a particular part, I'll repost.

I'm sorry about YouSendIt fucking up. I don't know what to do. Is there another, more reliable site to upload for free?

RomyThanks, Romy. I'm doing the Jim Ladd interview now from 8.23.94. I'll use one of those sites. Maybe it will be more stable.

I use them for big files and they're usually quite stable. Thank you for sharing all these great interviews. :)
