Courtney Love’s forthcoming memoirs won’t be a “kiss and tell” affair the former hole front woman has revealed.

The book entitled ‘Dirty Blonde: The Diaries of Courtney Love’ was expected to contain salacious details of Love’s notorious past.

However, that won’t be so she told BBC 6 Music: "It's not a kiss-and-tell, it's not an autobiography. I certainly don't give up a Tracey Emin-style 'sex list', 'cos if I did, as Stevie Nicks once told me, empires would crumble.”

“Haha, no I'm kidding! There are a few things about Kurt in there, but it's a very, very small part of the book."

Talking about her next solo album Love gushed that it was the best body of work she’d ever produced, saying: "We're just steaming right along with it. Everyone that hears it goes nuts. I don't want to sound arrogant but it's the best record I've ever done. It's awesome."

Courtney's over 40 now and yes she probably does have the makings of a great book in her somewhere .She's had a very wild and at times quite sordid life.I'm also hoping her remarks about her new album aren't just drug fueled grandiosity since a good new record by her would be nice.

It's no secret that I am a HUGE Courteny fan, and that had I not been that big a fan before, after having met her, I am devoted for life. Sad thing is, that America's Sweetheart is a KICKASS album. She keeps talking about coming out w/a great new album, but AS was a huge hit w/ critics, just not on the charts.

I hope that w/ her sobriety (and that is a hope w/in a hope) she regains some friendship w/ SN cause she could REALLY use a friend like her and guidence if she wants to survice being a 90's has been.
