Thank you so much for posting these! The detail in these hires images is gorgeous. It's like looking at these pictures for the first time. The outtake from "If Anyone Falls" has always been one of my most favorite shots of her.

Absolutely fabulous, sortasavagelike! There is nothing in the world like photos of Stevie in her prime. Thanks for posting them!

Okay, let's get busy identifying them, because as I wrote in another thread on the Chris board, some people probably like to keep their "eras" & photos organized in such a way so as to be a learning tool for themselves later on. The best way to do that is to ID the photos as well as possible. Of course, it ain't always possible, so you have to be willing to live with disappointment.

Please help out here. In your first post, from left to right:

1. Mirage Tour. Wearing black (I know she wore all black at the Tempe show & possibly the final show in Austin on Halloween). Any ideas?

2. Singing "Rhiannon" at the US Festival, 9.05.82.

3. "If Anyone Falls" video shoot, '83.

4. The Dance, Burbank, 5.97.

5. Summer/Fall 1977 tour. Just to take a guess: Santa Barbara Oct. 1977 (a late-afternoon outdoor show I saw where Stevie cried a lot).

6. The Dance.

Second post, left to right.

1. Summer/Fall 1977 tour (you can tell by Stevie's makeup & hair). Again, I betcha it's the same show as #5 above. A third shot from that show I think is in the Sam Graham book, the one of Stevie in Rhiannon garb in profile at the mic.

2. Stevie & Roy starting "Rhiannon" at the Peace Sunday benefit at the Rose Bowl, 6.06.82.

3. Bella Donna tour, 1981. Used by TV Guide to advertise the HBO showing.

4. Mirage Tour, probably October. Looks like "You Make Loving Fun."

5. Stevie in her Marina del Rey condo in early 1982, doing press for "Bella Donna." Same photo session that ran with Sylvie Simmons article in Creem.

6. Same as #5?

7. The Neal Preston shoot on the beach in Marina del Rey/Malibu, 1981? Ran in US magazine & Playboy.

8. Same as #7.

9. These were ID'd on Corbis ... anyone remember? It was an L.A. party in Fall 1976 with Stevie, Mary Torrey & Paul Kantner of the Airplane/Starship.

10. Same as #7 & #8.

wait, I just realized what I asked.These are all from Corbis. Marcella has a friend that has a subscription there, and we could request a few pictures. I didn't want to overload her though. I will ask for a few more in a few days. ;) So there will be more HiRes pictures...I think most come from websites like Corbis.

Didn't Nicksfix update recently with a new HQ pic? Was it 1?

Wow, I didn't understand any of that sentence at first. So, you only have those photos and a few others??? I have a recent white dress w/tan and stilt clog saved. I don't have as many as most. Hardly any, really. Why did you ditch them?

That's because I typed so fast I typed "cold ditch" which is really confusing, and almost looks like "cold bitch"
but I meant I "could ditch" all my other photos, and just have these, and be happy.

I've got a whole stack of floppy disks that have a ton of old school pics on them, but I don't have a floppy drive anymore and I'm sure the resolution was no where close to what these are. I actually like pale people in white too, but the tan skin in white gauze with silver jewelry makes me think of Summer at the beach,

in the 70's,

with margaritas.

She wore that bracelet a lot back then, or perhaps she had several similar ones.
