A fellow teacher at work told me that Elizabeth Taylor is unveiling her new jewelry line Thursday night in Vegas.....hummm..makes me wonder :laugh:

Wonder if Liz is gonna jump onstage with Stevie and sing backup? Maybe throw on one of Stevie's plus-size shawls from the Street Angel days and do a few twirls?
Lord, I apologize. I need to go to bed....

Let me guess, she will surprise us all and perform "Landslide" - or maybe something rarer, like "Dreams"

Here's an article about it, but it doesn't say anything about the set list (Anthony Nak is from Austin - good for him!):
New Couture designers among Town & Country winners
JUNE 02, 2006 - Las Vegas -- Several of the designers who received Town & Country Design Awards Thursday night were new exhibitors at the Couture Jewellery Collection and Conference, with small booths in the Design Atelier.
Design Atelier exhibitors Maevona, Maya Jewels and Sevan Bicakci were among those who received awards during the ceremony, which concluded with a performance by Stevie Nicks. Irene Neuwirth took home the coveted Editors' Choice Award.
The winners, and their specific award categories, were: Maevona in bridal; Kwiat in diamonds; Sevan Bicakci in colored gemstones; John Hardy in silver; Maya Jewels in gold; Anthony Nak in platinum; Yvel in pearl; Eclat Jewels in haute couture.
In the business category, David Yurman won for best advertising and John Hardy took the award for best marketing and public relations.
Following the ceremony, rock legend Stevie Nicks treated attendees to an intimate private concert. The event, sponsored by Town & Country magazine, the Couture Jewellery Collection and Conference and Bentley Motors, was the 11th annual evening gala held in conjunction with the awards. Proceeds from the evening benefited Jewelers for Children and its Caring for Katrina Kids fund-raising program, set up to help the youngest victims of Hurricane Katrina.

I agree.
I would also like to note for all the peeps who just cannot abide La Nicks getting paid for a provate show (as opposed to getting paid for a public show  ) that this private show benefited a charity.

On Taku's board, he said that it was basically a regular show but since it was only 90 minutes long they didn't play a few songs like BATB, Sorcerer, and Fall From Grace.

Oh, me too. I was kind of joking. I understand why Stevie would do a greatest hits set for something like the jewelers convention or whatever it was.
