Gypsy Music Festival April 9 in St. Louis

And it all comes down to you: Stevie Nicks, an advocate of Gypsy awareness, once sang, "Well, lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice/Ah, and it lights up the night/And you see your gypsy." Now you can see your gypsies as well at the St. Louis Gypsy (Roma) Music Festival on Sunday, April 9, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the World's Fair Pavilion in Forest Park. This Gypsy Awareness Program (of sorts) celebrates the Roma culture through song and dance. Tickets (available through www.metrotix.com) are $10; free for twelve and under.
