All of my stuff is going to be in caps ok(well after this part)Ummmm well I'm going to start off by saying that I know that most if not all of the songs in the "Tusk" era were about Mick :rolleyes: however these lyrics can apply both to Mick and Lindsey :eek: so I'm(just because I'm an B.N. romantic) ;)going to assume that it's about LIndsey :o-even though it doesn't matter anyway because of the fact I'm not using any names in my interpretation :pBut since I'm on the subject Stevie and LIndsey were still quiet "friendly" with one another during the whole "Tusk" thing weren't they??? Didn't he meet Sara Recor up at Stevie's house? Eventually she and Jim divorced and Sara married Mick! Of course they divorced years later and he married again to Lynn Frankel?, I think her name is...in 1996 ! There's a cute pix of Chris & Linds at the wedding!Looking slightly tipsy!!! !!! :)

I am not sure that Storms is about Mick. During the long Tusk interview where Stevie reviews each track of the album, she says that Storms and Beautiful Child were written "about three years" before Tusk. Tusk was 1979, so that means the songs date to 1976.
Mick was during the Rumours tour which was 1977, right? I will admit that I am biased in favor of Lindsey, here...so I think the songs are about him. But, if they are not about LB, Stevie's quote leads me to believe that they are not about Mick, either.

To me, Storms is about the saddest song Stevie has ever written. She just feels the love slipping away and can't do anything about it. She can't even cry, she feels "deadly calm inside."

IMO, this song is similar to "Secret Love"--especially the line that says "My secret love secretly died." Secret Love is almost surely about Mick, and I feel like Storms is too. Oh well, I guess we'll never know for sure until Stevie decides to tell us.

yes, you are right. It's not there. If my memory is correct it was one of the last interpretations done right before Marty took the old Ledge offline, right?

I suspect that it is gone forever unless you saved it. Sorry about that. I'll check with Marty, but I think there is little chance.

If you have a copy saved I can have Marty put it into the interp. section and you can post it here. Otherwise, you can save the interps you have and we'll add to them next month for the Dec. interpretation, OK?

I know that is a lot of work to go through. I think it was just a casualty of that whole strange period there just before the old Ledge died....
