I think Stevie is a little surreal, isn't she?
I bet she even has a book of translated poems by apollinaire.
I heard her favorite ones were the one that goes ... "ah, que la guerre est jolie" & isn't there another one that goes "sous le pont mirabeau/coule la seine ...blah blah"

No, it wouldn't. I don't ever want Stevie to drop to that level. A "has been" she is NOT.

I can live with a lack of new albums. I'm ok with setlists that don't change much from tour to tour. I could probably even live with it, if a few of her solo songs started to show up in commercials.
But if Stevie started doing the reality-show circuit... that would seriously bother me.

Um, just no.
But it would be quite amusing to see Stevie interact with Janice Dickinson, Tammy Faye, Ron Jeremy, Mini Me, and Flava Flav.

Might as well throw in Omarosa, too.

Well, she made a guest appearance on the Chris Issak show, which was quasi reality, though admittedly no way near the surreal life.

I don't mind Stevie doing some reality shows, just not this one.

Well, she made a guest appearance on the Chris Issak show, which was quasi reality, though admittedly no way near the surreal life.'The Chris Isaak Show' was scripted... and pretty damn funny, too! I loved Stevie's appearance. Plus, Chris Isaak is a good friend of hers, so it made sense for her to do a guest spot.
But holed up for several weeks in a garish house with a handful of C-List celebs?!? No thank you.

now, if Stevie's going to do a reality show, it should be one where it follows the making of her new album. THAT! would be approved.

Anybody who suggests Stevie should appear on the Surreal Life either doesn't get the point of that show or really hates her and her fans.
...And deserves a good smackupsidedahead!

Exactly. For Stevie to do The Surreal Life she would have to be a washed up burn-out with no dignity
I hope the day never comes.

She would have to share a bedroom, and for that reason alone she will never do it.

You know - I can see Stevie on a reality show...and being the only sane one in the house while everyone else complains about her:
I can already guess what they would complain about:
She just leaves diaries and velvet throws all over the place...and the woman takes in more Mexican food than the American southwest...

oh my god.
no.
never.
no. no. no.
i would be horrified if she ever did the surreal life. that would be like getting up and screaming "i am a total has-been with absolutely no dignity!"

It would rock alright...it would just about kill her career. The show gathers washed-up celebrities, not legendary, still viable rock stars. That is so not Stevie! She has her own surreal life to live.
I understand the intrigue of seeing how Stevie would act in an unusual situation, but I can't even think of her being involved with that show. It would be sad and pathetic.

no no no. why would we want our goddess shitfaced on national TV? especially when she has overcome some bigtime addictions already and that's part of why we idolize her. no dear...that wouldn't be cool. at least, not to me.

That would be the most humiliating project she could ever encounter. She probably loves to watch the Surreal Life, but she is not a freak like the weirdos on that show. She's not a freak...period.
Besides, she already did a "reality show"...it was called "Destiny Rules".
Now - if you want to make a reality show with Stevie - here's an idea: Stevie and Lindsey have to share a house together for 6 months to make the new Buckingham Nicks project. They have to compete over which songs go first, who mixes the album, and whose grammar is more correct. Hell - watch THOSE sparks fly. Sign me up for that!!!
