So I'm not really aware if Tom Petty has some Greatest Hits or Boxed Set ordeal comin out...or if this is just very old news and I wasn't aware.

I was listening to my radio station at work, and they said "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around is comin up next..." so I was like cool a Stevie song is coming on...

Much to my surprise, Stevie did not sing the song at all, it was Tom singing the whole song. And this wasn't some remake or anything, it sounded just like the Bella Donna recording, but he sang it himself...

Anyone else heard this?

Yeah, it's from his "Playback" boxset from, I think, 1995 or something like that... It's listed on the boxset as a demo version - but it does sound exactly like Stevie's version, music wise.

It's exactly the same backing track, I believe. Petty simply gave it to Stevie, who dubbed her vocals over it.
