Big Mondays with Waddy and Brett at The Joint in LA

Brett and Waddy's regular Big Mondays gig with their cover band at The Joint in LA will resume this Monday, April 3rd. Brett is a good friend of mine and he just sent me an e-mail about it. One of my musician friends will be in LA this week and I asked Brett if she might be able to sing with the band. Brett said it is a definite possibility. :thumbsup: My friend's name is Jennie DeVoe and she is a phenomenal singer and songwriter. She was being managed by Stevie's former manager Paul Fishkin for awhile. Jennie is frequently compared to Janis Joplin. You can listen to some of her original songs at www.myspace.com/JennieDeVoe

I was wondering if any LA Ledgies might be attending the show and would consider taping it. I live in the Midwest so unfortunately I won't be able to go.

The Joint is located at 8771 West Pico Blvd at the corner of Robertson Blvd. The LA zip code is 90035 and the club's phone number is (310) 275-2619. The show usually starts around 10 or 10:30 pm and the doors open around 9:00. Let me know if anyone is planning on going.

Absolutely! I would be there every Monday night if I lived in LA. Brett really enjoys playing with the band. I hope to be able to fly out for a show one of these days. I just got another e-mail from Brett today and now it looks like my friend probably won't be able to perform with the band. We are bummed!:( It will still be a great show. You LA Ledgies should definately try and catch a Big Mondays show at The Joint sometime.
