Looks like this might be the cover of the book - and the website looks to have been updated: http://s129092744.onlinehome.us/index.html

odd how the only 'reviews' about the book are 3 quotes by a freelance writer by the name of Cooper Black.I smell a hack.

I'm going to assume this is yet another collation of secondary sources passing itself off as a work of "research"

These numbnuts must actually believe that we fans don't read the other books on the band, & thus won't notice the slight change in wording to avoid copyright infringement.

One last hope: this "author" managed to dig up some unusual photos. Of course, that's unlikely in the extreme, too.

The only book I'm interested in is the one Stevie writes herself. This book looks like an infomercial

Completely off-topic but here goes anyway -- that middle photo is COOL! :woohoo: I've never seen it before...?

But you know, we can bitch and moan about it, but you realize someone is going to have to order this and see if we are actually justified in bitching and moaning.

You probably have, but that pic of the book cover is a bad example - here's a better view:

What ever happened to Sylvia? I wish she'd hang out here. She was a great gal.

Am I the only one who really doesn't like the cover? No. I hate it. I don't like associating doves with Stevie (or unicorns or faeries fucking down yon Linden Lea), & I don't like a cover that doesn't have any photo of Stevie from her 1970s heyday. Like what? Did the '70s never happen? I know people like to pretend that Stevie Nicks didn't become an important artist or a goddess until the Enchanted Tour, but that's simply not the case. As Vicky "Mama" Lawrence used to say, "Wake up & smell the coffee."

I don't think any of us expect any great shakes from the words in this forthcoming book, but maybe it will have some good photos inside.

God forbid this person might have actually (gasp) called a friend or a fellow musician or a family member, & actually gotten a (gasp gasp) BRAND-NEW QUOTE from them.

Nah, I really don't expect too much from this book either. Aside from some good pics, hopefully. Although the cover doesn't seem too promising.
It's not so much that they didn't have 70's pics of Stevie, or included that damn dove, it just looks so... unprofessional. Like some novice found some googled pics and slapped it together. I could do a better job!

 Vicky Lawerence. They still show Mama's Family reruns here. I have no idea who watches them.

I was waiting for this post. All this complaining about how this book is going to be so awful and this woman is hack and shouldn't be supported or encouraged, and all I could think was, "When is anybody going to admit that you're all going to buy the piece of crap anyway just to look at the pictures?"

I know I would, if I were there.
