Per gold_dustgypsy's request, an Enchanted Tour Gold & Braid, from Vegas 1998. I don't have a vid clip on my computer, sorry, but here's the audio. While NOTHING will ever beat the 1981 In Concert video performance for me, I think she did a great job vocally 17 years later.

THis vocal is why I mantain that, other than a few glimpses of it since, the 98 tour was the last truly great and consistent vocal performance of her career. I agree the Gold Dust tour was a minor return for a few songs, but the 98 tour was just sooooooo on.
Thanks for posting!!!!!!

I watched the 81 vid recently and noticed she was doing the "tambo toss" all the way back in 1981. I remember the "tambo toss" being a topic sometime in 2005, with some footage from this past tour where she tossed the tambo during Rock n Roll.... She does it during G&B on the vid too.

Yes, that's the original "tambo toss." We were excited about her doing it during R&R cuz she hadn't done it in a veeeerrrrry long time.
If Waddy had been near the drums during the 81 show, she would have taken him OUT!

That's what I thought the first time I saw the video. Me there going: "Is it my imagination or did she _really_ just fire that tambourine across the stage...?"
Hysterically funny.

Me there going: "Is it my imagination or did she _really_ just fire that tambourine across the stage...?" It hit a guy named Jim Bell at the side of the stage at the Fox Wilshire. He was carried out on a stretcher, but Stevie went gamely on.

 Tell me you're joking. :lol:I am, I am. Nobody had any acute bleeding, fracturing or hematosis episodes at the Fox Wilshire shows. By the way, those were some fun shows.
That was actually one of the smartest things the Stevie Nicks Organization ever did: to film those shows & put them on the market. Plus, in terms of camera work, that was the best live material any of those Mac people ever had up until The Dance. I'm amazed that Marty Callner produced & directed it. I guess his penchant for rapid cuts & herky-jerky & razzle-dazzle hadn't yet infected his bloodstream in 1981.

Thank goodness for that!! :wavey: It wouldn't bloody well surprise me ... it's a miracle nobody was injured!!
