After taking some awesome shots of Stevie during her Auckland concert - I have been looking around for some more fan concert photo's - found alot, but I thought it would be cool if we could post our 1 fav "Stevie in Concert" photo :thumbsup:

What fabulous pics! My fav of the ones above is Haunted Songs gold dust pic! Sensational shot! Love her hair i really feel as though she should change to the loose curls now as some parts of her hair look a little thinned out.

ok, odd choice, i know, but i can explain; yeah, it's very blurry, but that's because the photographer (aka myself) is very high on E, and stevie. what strikes me when i see this pic, is that i can realize (from looking at the people down there) the short distance from which it was (yes, badly) taken.

being so high and having stevie on stage right in front of me is my translation to the term "greatness".

I'm alway so amazed at how much Lindsey had grown up when on stage with Stevie. You'd hardly see him show such affection for her back in the height of Fleetwood Mac. There is one Mirage era moment, caught on stage, where the photos show him being tender to her, which was sooooo rare back then. Now it's all the time, and it's wonderful.

This one seems more on the commercial side, and is posted in more than one site I've seen - so I wouldn't know who to ask; however, does someone know the story behind this photo? Stevie and Lindsey were so distant during the Mirage tour, that I can't imagine what would bring them together in such an intimate pose. There are more shots of this moment too....Thanks!

Tiff's the queen of FM live photo's but I had some amazing luck on many stops. This one in particular I was mighty proud of. It's not my FAV concert shot of Stevie, but dear to me, cause it's such a good capture. I wasn't a part of this board when SYW was in full swing, so there is LOTS I've not shared here. I also have some great shots from the HOB shows. One of those in particular might be my fav, solely cause it was the 1st time I captured SN really well. And it's the last time I saw Sharon come to the mic for EO17 :( I SO miss that.

That's a great shot. I'm just speculating here but Robin did pass away during the Mirage Tour, sometime in October. So, since she was a friend to all the band, perhaps that's the thing that brought Stevie and Lindsey a bit closer.

However, that shot above is part of a series of shots that imply that Lindsey kinda made a speech about Stevie or something... (The rest are below). Perhaps it was her birthday? Either way, it looks like he paid her a kind compliment, and she was humbled and touched and he was very warm and loving to her. I don't know - it only seems rare that they'd be so affectionate on stage pre-"Dance" era. These are wonderful pictures...

I heard she lost weight, and she looked so good in that Australia magazine layout from December - but she looks a bit thick around the waist there. God love her...it's so hard to lose weight and keep it off. Still hoping its just her movement distorting the shot.

Plus her hair and outfit look kind of makeshift to me, like she was too sick to fix herself or something :laugh:I think it was taken at the end of the band's performance at the US Festival in '82. They were all huggy-huggy & Steve Wozniak came up onstage & gave them all hugs & it was all just one big party. A lot of people were probably glad the three-day hell was finally over!

Perhaps they were able to get past some difference when Robin passed away during this time. However, that shot above is part of a series of shots that imply that Lindsey kinda made a speech about Stevie or something... (The rest are below). Perhaps it was her birthday? Either way, it looks like he paid her a kind compliment, and she was humbled and touched and he was very warm and loving to her. I don't know - it only seems rare that they'd be so affectionate on stage pre-"Dance" era. These are wonderful pictures...

I thought she sounded quite good. BUT, it was my first FM or Stevie show, so I think I was probably too excited to be overly discriminating. I left there quite happy. My sister, who is not necessarily a big fan, was also hugely impressed. So, despite being sick, I thought she turned in quite a solid performance.

Anyway, she has one hand on the mic and the other one is kind of splayed out...I'm thinking it was either Rumours or Tusk, and it looks like she's doing a Janis Joplin wail into the mic. Anyway, I can't find that pic, I thought I'd saved it to my harddrive but now I can't find it. THAT is my favorite all-time concert pic of Stevie. They're probably from October somewhere-or-other. Here are two shots from the Inglewood Forum on Dec. 6/7, so you can see already a few months later she looks a little different--not quite as "fresh" as in October. Apparently, she was taking some steroids to treat her pneumonia. She got kinda sick, so Fleetwood had to postpone its gigs in Europe.

This is an interesting question, and a very heavy one. It’s also rather personal, and not one that I feel is really any body’s business but mine, Sharon’s, and Stevie’s. However, I will say that when one decides to get into drugs, whether their friends try to stop them or not, if they don’t want to stop, there’s not much anyone can do.... even those who have had interventions. Often times if you push an addict too hard, they cut you out of their life, then making it impossible to help them at all. Ultimately, it is the addict’s choice to stop. I could tell you of many addicts who went to rehab, and overdosed after they came out. Stevie is an extremely strong and determined woman, and no one has ever been able to tell her what to do. She is a woman who makes her own choices, and she is the one who made the choice to stop doing drugs (and smoking, by the way)!

It's of Stevie guesting with John Stewart at a club in Southern California right after the Tusk Tour. Kind of hoping others will post pics from my favorite eras, too. Back when I was a big fan, I collected a lot of photos. I was at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood on many a Sunday for the record conventions. Fans bought scads!

I agree with you. They're probably from October somewhere-or-other. Here are two shots from the Inglewood Forum on Dec. 6/7, so you can see already a few months later she looks a little different--not quite as "fresh" as in October. Apparently, she was taking some steroids to treat her pneumonia. She got kinda sick, so Fleetwood had to postpone its gigs in Europe.
