I found my old sticker book the other day.

Most of the scratch & sniffs still smell.

My niece was pretty excited to see my Care Bears & Cabbage Patch Doll stickers.

Nobody was excited to see my Michael Jackson and Culture Club stickers. :(

I had forgotten about fuzzy stickers, satin stickers, stickers with gooey stuff on them that change colors when you press down on them. And wow, did I like rainbows when I was 9.

Oh, I wish I knew where mine was. Stickers were so cool, weren't they? I remember my big cousin had some that smelled like sausage.... I mean, really? Who begs mom to buy them scratch-and-sniff sausage stickers??

What about Garbage Pail Kids? Remember those? I know I had a few GPK stickers....

god yes. my mom wouldn't let me watch the show so I'd sneak over to a friends house to watch...

I loved my stickers. I haven't seen them in years, though. They're probably at my mom's somewhere. I used to love the scratch-and-sniff ones. I remember getting root beer ones on homework at school.

Stickers were the best. I remember going to my friend's house to look at each other's stickers and also to trade them. Sadly I don't have my sticker collection anymore. I'm sure I threw them away years ago.:(

Garbage Pail Kids were awesome! They were so gross and I loved it.

I didn't collect stickers when I was a kid. I do, however, collect them at work.

Those are my two favorites. The awesome flask one is courtesy of Mikki. Not seen is the "Twinkies: America's #1 Fun Food!" right next to it.

A preview of my hag status to come, perhaps?

And shut up, you know you're jealous of my Culture Club stickers. They're puffy ones, too.

Me, too, I was alllllll about stickers. I so wish I had my books. it's really the only remotely girly thing I played with. I was enchanted with them. I had all pretty ones - I didn't like non pretty ones. I would've never had garbage pail, and I think my scratch and sniff were shunted to the background. I had about 15 oilies (that's what they're called, Paula) and that was quite the bounty back in the day. There were a couple pages of just unicorns, a sparklies section, oilies section, etc. I remember having quandries about, say, a sparkly unicorn - should it go on the unicorn page or the sparkly page??? And Lisa Frank stickers were really pretty and I'd save up to buy those because they were more unusual, and often big, and usually exceptionally rainbowy.
Then I had a "for trading" section with the backs still on of course, and "display only" that were stuck onto the book.
God, now I'm really sad I don't have those! I couldn't possibly have thrown them away on purpose. :(

Lisa Frank......I was obsessed with her stuff -- the stickers, folders, all of it. Good times.

I love the ones where you can smell different kinds of Cologne.
