Make no mistake about it, those are real tears.
i.m.o., she really did write and sing that one from her heart.
Ever seen the "Phantom of the Opera" movie?
It's still the same old story, whether it be Stevie and Mick or the Phantom and "Princess" from the movie.
And it's an utterly beautiful story, and I think maybe Stevie very much appreciated that when she wrote the song.

P.S. - this is why some fans, including myself, roll their eyes when she does songs like "That Made Me Stronger" -
people know what she's capable of, believe me. ;)

I watched it this morning- she's crying, it looked like. She was high as hell, but who cares- it was always so beautiful when she sang and you knew it came from deep within her heart. Sigh.

That was awesome. Since Vegas, we know Stevie can nail that song high or straight! The girls back up vocals are beautiful. You know, the other nite I was watching Vegas, and sometimes I'll listen throughout a song or complete show, for one specific thing (like drums or back up vocals) and the girls on B&B in Vegas are gorgeous.

that's funny cause I do the same thing. I will decide I'm gonna pay attention to the guitar licks or whatever.

Is there anyway to download this onto my computer as this computer will not stream it :mad:Yes, you can:

1. Type in a URL in the following format...

http://www.youtube.com/get_video.php?l=165&video_id=[add the YouTube video ID here]

E.g. http://www.youtube.com/get_video.php?l=165&video_id=cccboCTd4GQ
... where cccboCTd4GQ is the video's ID.

You'll see the video's ID in a couple places on the YouTube page for that video.
It's the string of random-looking characters in the video's web address URL after the ?v= and before the next "&"
... or the same characters after the ?v= in the Video URL (Permalink) field under the Share Details section towards the bottom of the page.

2. When you load the URL that you created in your browser you will be prompted to save the file
Save the file, then find it and rename it to whatever you like, ensuring the file extension is changed to .flv

3. Play the file in a media player that supports FLV files

Here's a standalone FLV player for PC: http://sweb.cityu.edu.hk/50689882/flvs.zip

And for MAC: http://sweb.cityu.edu.hk/50689882/flv_mac.zip

Lovely!
This song will be so beautiful with an orchestra, I hope she will record it with the Melbourne Syphony Orchestra.

Sorry about my ignorance of all of the shows, but has she had real strings, rather than that darn synth on this song - live?

Love her!

looking back at this I believe this is from the same concert where Stevie dances with Elaine during Stand Back. I have this entire concert on VHS and it is pro shot - wonder why and where the rest of it is...

Sorry about my ignorance of all of the shows, but has she had real strings, rather than that darn synth on this song - live? She did once, on the Wild Heart Tour, at the Meadowlands show in NJ. I think Paul Buckmaster even conducted the orchestra (which is probably the only time he's done a show with Stevie).

She kills me too! That performance really captures a truly magical performance. That is the reason most of us fell in love with her back then!!!
A force of nature at THE TOP of her Rock N Roll game! God..I miss her.
Thanks Jayne!!!!

Al Ortiz is singing backup on BATB at the Vegas shows too. :D
