In 2003, DJ Linus Loves released a cover of "Stand Back" featuring singer Sam Obernik on vocals. Many consider that Obernik's unique performance of the track is somewhat closer to how the song was meant to be performed originally, with the lyrics fitting in with the music much better than Nicks' original.

The lyrics fitting in with the music much better than Nicks' original?
She wrote it. It's her song. Is it fair if wikipedia to say this? I think it's plain stupid.
Who is the 'many' people that think this? His vocals are lackluster, at best, and I bet people don't pass out when they see him perform this song in concert! As for a cover of a Stevie song, it is ok, but it can't compare to Hole's Gold Dust Woman.

If it bothers you that much, go ahead and change it.

Yeah, isn't Wikipedia that site where just anyone can add things about, well, just anything? I found out the hard way that it's not exactly the place to get valuable information...before I knew what it was, I had quoted from it for a paper for school, and the professor was like, "This isn't a VALID source." I mean, I think the facts were right...still got a lower grade for it though. Damn +'s and -'s always annoyed me.

Depends what you're looking for. There was an article published recently that claimed a bunch of scientists had scoured a lot of the Wikipedia entries on scientific subjects, and the vast majority of them were very accurate. Most information on Wikipedia is pretty reliable, but no, it shouldn't be used as an academic source, given the nature of the site.
