Dude...I just think you need to let everyone enjoy their own guilty pleasures without giving them a hard time. It gets a little old after a while. I am not one to post here much but even I am tired of it. This is the first time she has been on Aussie TV in a very long time so let these guys enjoy it. I dont care if she is singing the yellow pages.

what the problem is about Stevie performing Landslide...Yeah, I am bored with the song but at least she is still out there performing.

Which would people rather have, her performing a song she has somewhat "over-performed" or not play/perform at all? Rather see her out there on the road entertaining those who may have never heard her play "Landslide" in concert than to "burnout and fade away...."

especially at something like this...most of the people probably want to hear something they associate with her...Landslide, Dreams, Stand Back etc.

those who don't follow her every move aren't as easily annoyed at the lack of variety in what she chooses to sing. to some of us Landslide, et al. are beaten to death, but to some I'm sure it's a pleasure to see/hear it.

Landslide is a beautiful song.. no matter who's backing her up on it... plus it's relatively easy to pull off.

She won't perform anything new or obscure on a show like this.. maybe in concert you can hope for the odd surprise.

I was 31 years old the first time I saw Stevie perform solo-wise (TISL tour) and 33 when I saw FM perform for the first time (Finally heard "Landslide" live at the July 1,2003 OKC show...That show is still fresh in my memory due to the exhuberant crowd response to any/all songs Stevie sang, except for "Beautiful Child" where most of the "fair-weather" fans in attendance were puzzlingly scratching their heads unlike us diehards, I remember our own Ledgie "Livia" was the only fan on the floor who stood during BC! Of course our other Ledgie "shackin' up" was mesmorized by Lindsey's guitaring...Alas I headbanged during "I'm So Afraid", Ol' metal habits die hard!)

I was mesmorized by seeing Stevie (Who sang "Sara" in Dallas in 2004), for not so much the song but the way her "2 birds of Rhiannon" were out and in effect that night (I remember thinking to myself "Dayum...She is sending a message to someone in the crowd at this show that these birds are needing some attention!!!")

Yeah, it was great to hear Sara, but it seemed too uptempo to me like they were trying to rush through it, and it was like her heart just wasn't in it. Another "going through the motions" for the most part. BC, on the other hand, she poured her heart into that tune every time I saw them.

Yes exactly..it's the same with a band like say the Rolling Stones. I do like them a lot, although I don't have anything but their Greatest Hits 40 Licks cds...therefore I'm not a "Die hard fan." Had they not done 2 songs that I know and like by them last night at the Superbowl I wouldve been disappointed...sorry, If I don't follow a band 100% like F-mac I want to hear a hit..so that's why I understand when Stevie and Mac do this. And the truth is the MAJORITY of fans at the shows, want the same thing, hits...

Someone said on here once that they wouldn't care if she was singing the theme from Sesame Street in her underwear. I agree. Don't care what she wears or what she sings, just being in her presence will be enough for me. I, of course, *hope* that there is a possibility I might get one rarity every now and again, but whatever she wants to sing is cool with me!

At an awards show it is only appropriate she do one of her classic songs people are famiar with since it's not like these are Stevie fans paying to see her. Not a thing wrong with her doing Landslide on this occasion, even if we've heard it a thousand times.
