So I was on the 101 tonight talking on the phone around 1145. As soon as I hanged up with my friend I turned up the volume of my cd player not remembering what cd I last had in there last(yes im still to poor for an Ipod right now). I turned up the volume and found myself to be in the middle of Storms. For 2 seconds I was like I don't remember having Tusk in my player.
Then my mouth dropped as it dawned on me it was actually being played on the radio. Get this, as soon as the song ended it went str8 into U2's With Or Without You. How cool that those songs blend together huh? It was 95.5, Uncle Joe Benson then named both songs, then YES said there's a full moon out tonight. Full moon indeed. Ive also heard The Highwayman & Fall From Grace on LA radio before too! Hmmm with my luck maybe I'll run across Long Way To Go & Listen To The Rain next!

That is amazing. I can't believe you heard Storms on the radio. I would plotz. :woohoo:
Guess what happened here on Monday? Every morning on this radio station, they have "10 at 10", which is 10 random songs from a particular year.
So, they were doing 1986, and when my alarm radio went off, "I Can't Wait" was just starting!!!:woohoo: I've also heard it played on that station once before.
The best part is, listeners can vote for best of set every morning, and Stevie/I Can't wait won this Best of Set!!!
These are all the songs she won Best of Set against:
1. Talking Heads - Love For Sale
2. World Party - All Come True
3. INXS - What You Need
4. Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls
5. Stevie Nicks - I Can't Wait (B-O-S!!)
6. Van Halen - Why Can't This Be Love?
7. Eddie Money - Take Me Home Tonight
8. Call - Everywhere I Go
9. REM - Superman
10. ZZ Top - Stages
At first I was like "oh, c'mon! no way!" but then I realized that that is the first time I have ever voted for Best of Set, and I did it because I am a Stevie fan and they played ICW, and I sh*t my pants, and had to vote for her, and probably a bunch of other Stevie fans who never vote either randomly heard them playing ICW, sh*t their pants in suprise, and had to vote for their girl. Cause that's how we do.
Then it all made sense why she won. And you know that's how Stevie fans would be.
I really like a bunch of songs from this list, too. Well, probably 1/2. But still!

I'm sure you're being sarcastic, but I really like that song, and have since it came out. In fact, I remember dancing in my underwear in front of a mirror to that song when I was 12. I thought it was sexy (the song). Good times.
But I have a weird Eddie Money thing. The thing that makes it weird is that I like any of his songs at all. But actually I like a handful or so of them. With Eddie Money, a handful officially makes it a "thing". Eddie Money is graded on a curve. But I mean I really like those few songs. Someone should note that for support of the chaos theory.
I actually thought Pet Shop Boys, REM, or INXS would win. :)

Very nice! I would be quite shocked to hear Storms on the radio, too. The mosting shocking Stevie/Mac songs I've ever heard on the radio were Frozen Love and the "Stevie" version of Imaginary Lover. I was very excited. :blob1:

i hear Storms on the radio all the time when I'm in Colorado.
a few radio stations - 1 in Boulder and 1 in Denver they LOVE
Fleetwood Mac in Colorado (and LA).
I also hear non-single album tracks on KCRW quite often.

I love gold! The guys voice is alittle wierd, but the music, and stevies back-up make up for it! That song just has a cool feel to it. IMHO:nod:

They play Storms sometimes on my local classic rock station! I get all excited whenever they do (I <3 Storms...). The Fleetwood Mac song they play the most here however is Say You Love Me...but hey...you aren't going to hear any complaints from this McVie McNut! :blob1:
