What year is the interview from? Sounds late70s early 80s at the most. As if she has not had worse nights than that one since!

Aww, poor Stevie... I can believe that that was... well, at least _one_ of the worst moments ever... Top ten maybe. If it'd happened to me (if I just happened to be Lindsey Buckingham's girlfriend and we joined this band, y'know, happens a lot!) I would have been devestated by that, this Christine person coming in and my boyfriend writing songs with her and sayng no to me. Poor Stevie!

I could see why that would be so hurtful to her. Emotional scars take longer to heal then physical scars. But obviously she didn't hold it against him too long, or atleast until 1976-77 when they "broke up".

Plus, it's not like Christine wasn't married at the time. We've all seen the kind of guys Chris goes after. Lindsey's too pretty. In other words, it's not like Chris was going after Stevie's man.

Thank youuuuu
Ok, I agree there were worse nights for everybody. I remember Mick said in his book, during the Tusk tour I think, maybe Australia? Lindsey was too drug or drunk, and during Rhiannon he started kicking and annoying Stevie, or something like that. Stevie had to live the stage embarrassed. And when the gig was over, backstage, Chris gave a slap to Lindsey screaming "never do this again to this band!!! is that clear!!!!"
I think that was a very very bad night...

Yeah, I read about that too. I think wine-throwing was mentioned too at some point.
All I can say is fair play to Chris.

For Christine, anyway. I mean, John McVie, Dennis Wilson, and Eddy Quintella are not pretty boys.

I may be biased, but John's face is dreamy compared to those other lads...and even Dennis had some rugged appeal at times.

I think John was and is cute, moreover he has a brain, a sense of humour and is a gentleman, qualities that make him very fascinating.
And Dennis Wilson had the sturm und drang appeal, I think.

Yep, I heard about that. He threw his jacket over himself and started mocking her on stage, I think, and then kicked her and went off backstage, and Stevie said everyone finished what they were doing on stage the best they could and rushed backstage to sort him out and Chris just got there first. And a good thing for Lindsey, 'cause Stevie would have killed him outright, I'm willing to bet. And Mick said Stevie kept singing like a trouper when Lindsey did all that.
And on the other unrelated pretty-boy thing, I'm afraid I do not see the attraction in John. Beside the other two Chris was with, maybe, but beside most men...? He's a perfectly lovely person, and he rocks and all, but I don't see the attractiveness!
