Stevie's Sister? [Archive]

Okay... at the risk of sounding totally ignorant and completly unaware... Does Stevie have a sister??

Because I have never heard anyone mention her or anything... but I was going through this website looking at pics of stevie and the 4th picture from the top on the left shows a picture of "Stevie and her sister, at Liz Taylors birthday party" ?? :]

I think it probably would have come out by now if that was the case.
There's a photo floating around the net - an old black and white - of
Stevie with her family - one of those more or less formal photos "of the
entire family" - and it has Stevie, her brother, and her mom and dad,
with no other kids.
I haven't bothered to subscribe to Wire Image so I just saw the
smaller image - but could this be Lori?

I've definitely seen photos with badly-researched captions, for example there was one on Sararhiannon.com ( R.I.P. - *sob!* :lol: ) with "Stevie Buckingham and her collective project with Lindsey" - a little girl - it turned
out that the girl was Mick Fleetwood's daughter, and the photographer or
reporter had just assumed it was Stevie's daughter without bothering to find out.

That entire gallery is full of mislabled pics and inaccuracies .It seems like they were making them up as they went along.

i have the picture of stevie w/ the redhead, the one they listed as her sister, when i bought it, it said it was stevie & christine mcvie, well i knew it wasn't christine, i bought it for stevie, not sure who the redhead is, tho the hubby says she kinda looks like ruth buzzy:lol: ~

Page 10 labels Kim Anderson as Jim Iovine. I think a photo of Chris Nicks is labeled Kim Anderson.

Stevie has had a party for U2 and was or is friendly with them. It was, though, through the Iovine connection.

here is the version i have of stevie w/ the same lady~ she does resemble ruth buzzy somewhat, but ruth is alot older & i'm sure it's not her, i think alot of pics from this photo set were shot at jose' eber's salon, so maybe the red-head is someone who wrks for him:shrug: ~ not sure:shrug: ~

I'm not sure but I think this may be Stevie's MOM.
There's a great old "formal" pic of the entire family, but
unfortunately that's not currently on B/N.net - I'll go look
on sararhia- oh. Yeah. *sob!* :lol: :blob1:
Anyway that pic's floating around somewhere - I wish we could
see it in order to "compare and contrast." (hint-hint! ;) )

That's what I was just thinking....... I'm pretty sure that this is the girl that had her hair done (with Jose's help I'm sure) by Stevie......... I swear I read something about this somewhere......

It took place in early '87. There's video footage from ET of Stevie, Jose, and the lady, and Stevie saying that if she ever stops singing she can go into hairdressing. :laugh:

I have that video - but the woman in these pics looks like someone else?? If it IS the same woman, then I think this pic was taken at another time. Because Stevie's make-up on the ET thing was much different, and the woman's hair was styled differently. I always crack up when Stevie goes, "We call her 'Red' now!"

If I recall, the woman had won some sort of contest, to have your hair done by Stevie.

It's definitely not Lori. It sort of looks like Liza Jane Edwards though. I know at one time she had red hair. :shrug:
