Her make up is just nasty... does nothing for her. It's one thing to do your face for TV or stage, but for daytime event like this TONE IT DOWN!!!!!
Her dress leaves much to be desired, but I'm happy to see her in her boots and not those awful Frankenboks.....:shocked:

That's the same ring she was wearing at the Today Show...she's often worn rings on "that" finger. It means nothing, really...

However, I keep imagining (key word being imagine) the paparazzi yelling, "Stevie, how long have you and Andrew been engaged? Show us the ring! Stevie, over here! Stevie, Stevie, Stevie!" :p

She wore that dress at the second Walden Woods benefit. But it made it's first appearance in the "If Anyone Falls" video. But Lori was wearing it. Stevie was wearing the white version of the same dress throughout the video. Great dress. Nice hate. And I agree she looks both old Hollywood and classic Diva here.

That was a photo that was taken by Dorian Boese (not sure of the spelling) who was a concert photographer based in Scottdale, AZ. This photo was taken at Stevie's at Compton Terrace show in AZ in 1981 if I am not mistaken. She has a flesh colored body suit on.

I'm glad that she put more shadow on her lower lid again like she used to. It's more flattering to her eyes, IMO.

At any rate, maybe everyone should buy one of these suckers, name it Stevie, and go to town giving her make-overs.....

But, as I pointed out in earlier post, and Jason also noted, there are no pearls in the bust area, so it may just be a very similar one (or recently altered).

It almost looks like it's a dress with like a coat or jacket over it.

I think she is friendly, just well-protected. If you can actually get to her, I bet she'll be super nice :). Especially in this atmoshpere... Stevie just seems so tickled to be there, and I'm sure she knows her Australian fans have waited a long time to see her. In a couple of the press photos on WireImage, she is signing cd booklets for people, so it looks like she would be obliging with fans.

Great photos... Stevie does stay true to her individual style.

Observations: someone mentioned in an earlier thread "something under her left eye" - we can see it in a few of these pics. I think she's got too much pancake on. Bought that tshirt. The cool breeze thing, funny that it's tre chic to go braless again. I saw these things at the store awhile back, you wear them like a big bandaid under your boobs and it lifts them up. The "braless" bra. I almost bought some, but I feel too old and embarrased to walk around nipping-out like that. Cool she's wearing the boots. And she looks great walking with those men in black with the shades on like Secret Service agents. Think "Commander in Chief"...

These are great pics but the ones where she looks like a *lady* gave me the willies. That did not look like Stevie. Stevie is a rock goddess, damnit! Thank gawd she showed some titty to balance it out. I love her for doing all this solo stuff and keeping us in pics and interviews. One other thing about those pics is her red nail polish. I don't like that. It makes her hands look too harsh. Anybody else think that? Stevie's hands are small and I think she needs something more delicate. Love that ring. Did she buy that for herself?

I have the poster from this same photo shoot, though she's standing up. It's a cape she's wearing, not the dress from the Kentucky Derby, although the pearl stuff on the shoulders looks identical. I think she uses some of the same fabrics, embellishments, etc. on several different pieces.

My two cents: I think she looks great but would love to see her in all white or beige, like she used to (circa 1980). Give the black a rest! But I LOVE the cleavage. She hasn't dipped that low in a while :p

The new one, which does not look like the BD one to my eyes either, it actually two pieces..a ring and a guard. It is really pretty in person and shines fabulously. The Steve-ster is ridiculously gorgeous in these photos! The only changes I'd make is to ease up on the black. I love black, but wear it in moderation, like a sweater with jeans or a colored top with black pants. Harper's Bazaar just had an article where they said black head-to-toe just doesn't really work...

Love the red nails too, but cut them shorter! You can carry off bright colors like that with shorter nails better.

And the eye makeup - it's so Stevie. The only change I'd make is to blend it better and choose a shade slightly more flattering to her eye color. I think plums would really look great on her!

But what a diva...how I wish I could be in Australia right now! :o
