I've been informed that I have to report the mini Stevie interview I saw. They were talking about what she was wearing but I don't even remember what it was. I'm sure nobody's interested but that was the most historic running of the Melbourne Cup ever. So yes, I saw her and if you see her it is apparently your duty to report. Um.....I think it was black. I know it's unimaginable but I wasn't listening to what she said, I was just tuning in to the race.

We are a giant landmass useful for little more than cattle grazing so we have plenty of "cowboys" (although they're not really called that) and they do not dress like American cowboys. I need to leave now to watch it or I'll be the only Australian who misses it. Cup day is fun but socialites who attend the Cup make me want to extract my own kidneys, although I do not refer to our subject, just the regulars.

I don't want to post twice but someone asked who John Farnham is. Just google him. He's not known elsewhere but he has had a huge career within our borders and although I do not like him, it's hard not to know him. He's dull to me and far from my own musical likings but he does have a technically brilliant voice.
