How in the HELL have I not seen that concert footage? OMG- it is now my alltime favorite Stevie live performance. That moment with Lindsey on the mike? Shivers.

it is very cool. my favorite moments:

1 - Stevie using her invisible scales to describe the 2-part harmony

2 - Stevie and Lindsey at the piano (AB FAB!!!)

3 - Stevie doing the "mashed potato"

4 - Stevie doing ballet...she probably had to strap the "girls" down - they were ready to be set free - how gorgeous does she look there?!

4 - Stevie doing ballet...she probably had to strap the "girls" down - they were ready to be set free - how gorgeous does she look there?!

Watching her smile and dance onstage is just awesome. I had seen the video footage, but not the concert (not sure how that happened).

OMG - I love that - she never really finishes a sentence before starting another :laugh: Then that "till I become that part of the wi . . . " is SOOOOOO high and pretty - -then they cut to the concert footage and she is so throaty and like an octave lower :eek: Though I think the performance is FAB - I remember thinking - honey, you should have done that higher vocal :laugh:

Quite possibly the moment that truly solidified that Stevie was IT for me.
The first time I saw this was in 1980 on a latenight TV show called NIGHTFLIGHT. I taped it then. Never could find it on VHS until about a year or so later.
Makes me feel old...it was way before we had the internet. :laugh:

That was so awesome...thanks for sharing. You could feel the chemistry between the two of them...it gave me goosebumps! She looks so happy!

I love Lindsey's little back/ass/head touch. :lol: And the "huh, you were VERY... very good" *orgasmic expression* from him also.

It's obvious that Stevie really does love it. She looks like she's having a great time!

That's what I love the most about it. I haven't seen Stevie enjoy herself like that in a long time. She was so flirty and happy and very in touch with the audience, I think. It was sad and cool at the same time.

She looked beautiful throughout! One of my favourite moments, aside from all of the ones you listed, is the part in the studio where she goes: "YEAYEAHYEAHEAAAAAH TRACK A GHOST, THROUGH THE FOOOOOG BAAAAAAABY!", then trails off," Yeeaaaah.. eeeyeah..."

I do love the bit with them at the piano-- The harmonizing. Slays me every time. They sound amazing.

Also, when Lindsey comes up to the mic, and Stevie looks at him with this extremely sweet smile. I melt!
As I had mentioned to gateandgarden, you could almost see the wheels in his head spinning: "Okay, Buckingham, go for the ass... Oops, wait, I see Don in the crowd. I want to live! *repositions hand* I like this hat."

It was sad and cool at the same time.

I have to smile, albeit a bit sadly when I watch this, too. It's hard to believe that it was really so long ago. Stevie was what, 31? siiiiiiigh.
