Hey L.A.'ers,

Just wanted to give you a heads up that it's Big Mondays w/Waddy Wachtel and Friends. He will be playing every Monday night at The Joint (8771 Pico @ Robertson). Brett Tuggle, Rick The Bass Player and many surprise guests will be there. Looks like this Monday gig with Waddy goes through until 12/31. Hopefully Stevie will join in at some point.

If you don't know, The Joint is a very cool, intimate club with lot's of cool artists. See you there!

I've seen Waddy several times at The Joint and talked to him on a few occasions. This place is literally down the street from my house. Would anybody from The Ledge like to meet up? I can't go this Monday as it is Halloween but I'd be willing to meet up anytime after that.

I will try and schedule some other kind of things on that side of town so I will be there all day. Let's gang up on Towie and try and make him go. It is like 10 minutes from his ass.

When does the show start ?

The doors open at 9:15 pm and the band goes on at 10:30 pm. The cover is $15 and they do not take reservations. You can go to The Joint's website www.atthejoint.com for more info. You can sign up for their e-mail list on the website and they will let you know when special guests will be appearing.

Brett Tuggle is a close friend of mine and he just sent me an e-mail regarding the gig. He said he is the band's lead singer and they are playing their favorite rock songs from the 60's, 70's and 80's. :thumbsup: It sounds like they are having a blast playing together and it is a really cool scene. :cool: I am thinking about flying out to LA for one of the shows.

This is a long shot, but... you guys who are going this Monday, if one of you gets the chance to talk to Brett, would you tell him Kortni says hi? It would mean the world to me...

Wish I could be there with you all... sounds like it's gonna be a blast.

Hey Kortni! Remember me? I tried to stand up and wave to you in Houston when Stevie introduced Brett. I'm living in LA now and will probably be making it to one of these shows!

I've been secretly hoping for that but since she's in Australia I don't think it will be happening. Watch though, she'll be at one of the shows I don't go to knowing my luck and then I'll hear about it after.
