I LOVE this song. But then again I love this whole album.

I think that this song is about Fleetwood Mac. Did she say that somewhere? I think she did.

I think that this is part is about her old relationship with Lindsey. To me it's like she's trying to finally tell Lindsey why they had to break up. She loved him, but like she had said if he was mad at her it was hard to work with him...and she didn't know what to do and how to handle it.

That is about being in FM. In the beginning it seems like they didn't take her seriously so she says what she thinks they want her to say.

I hate to say this because of the fact that she was in tears, but it sounds like a single person. So I am going to say that this is about LB. He knows what she is afraid of probably personally and professionally.

It sounds like she wants to try and figure out what the right thing to do is. Like she doesn't want to upset Lindsey...or the band. Maybe this could be referred to Stevie and Lindsey joining FM. She terrified of being wrong, because she was the one that finally said okay to Lindsey to join the band...but she didn't want to loose everything that they had worked so hard for. But they weren't happy...they had no money and they had to do something.

This could be the whole band. Love changed for all of them and for a LONG time none of them seemed happy. And for the first time in a long time they were all alone.

This is one of my favorite songs on the cd. Here is my interpretation:

She is basically saying that she did love him, but she couldn't make him understand their relationship wasn't getting better. She gave him so much love, that there wasn't anything left for herself. She doesn't want to believe it, even though she kind of knew it was coming, but she doesn't feel the same about him anymore.

She says things to make him happy, so they won't have to get into any arguments. Even though he loves her, she still is so sad because he really knows all of her fears.

So, she is trying to think of a way where they could both be happy. She is afraid that no matter what she does, it will be the wrong decision. But she really wants to try to get through to him that she isn't imaging the way she feels. She tells him that they are going through this and feeling like this for a reason. They need to be apart.

She understands that when people's feelings change, sometimes the other person can't understand why all of a sudden it is happening. One day you are in love with someone and the next day you are alone.

Again, she justs wants to stress that she did love him, but it was just getting too much for her and that she needed some space to breathe and be her own person.
