We-ell, as promised, here are my Today shots. It was still dark during the soundcheck, so the pics are a bit grainy. Plus I had to resort to digital zoom for a couple... Stevie, you know we only do this because we loves ya! :wavey:

Funny facial expressions lol

Keeping in mind that she is almost 60 years old, she doesn't look terrible. Definitely looks her age, though. And is it really cold enough in New York for that coat?? My god, it's been almost 110 degrees here for the last week.

I LOVE the "before" pictures. She looks totally bad-ass with those glasses on. And, I LOVE the casual ponytail (minus the bad scrunchie).

Of course she looks stunning in the "after" photos too. When isn't she gorgeous?!

She actually looks older then 60 in some of the no makeup pictures to me. But then in other no makeup pictures she looks rather good. Her makeup artist must be a miracle worker though because I had no idea she looked like that in real life.

Well, at first I thought the turkey neck had come back... but in fact they look like wisps of her "golden hair." :) Unfortunately I think it still makes her look worse than she really did. Considering the lack of proper lighting, I thought she held up pretty well to scrutiny. I think most women would love to look like that at 6:30 in the morning.

She looks her age... maybe a couple years younger... but that's nothing shocking/surprising to me.

Being surrounded by women (my mother and all of my aunts) who are approx. Stevie's age, and seeing them both with and without makeup, this is exactly what I would expect Stevie to look like.

Thanks for posting the pics, Ed. :wavey: :)

...She doesn't look bad at all. Sure, her face droops a little.....that's understandable. I do wish she would lighten up on the makeup...looks too cakey and thick. Natural is beautiful......just look at Lindsey and his face.

Again, I don't think she is as vain as people seem to think... There were definately alot of people out there today during soundcheck and cameras were completely allowed.. If she was so concerned about how she looked, she would have at least kept the sunglasses on... In a way, I think she is proud to look the way that she does without makeup at almost 60 years old...

Well the only person I'm really comparing her to is my Grandmother and my next door neighbor. I can't swear that I have seen these people without makeup though, so it might not be fair to compare them! They could never look as stunning as Stevie does, even with all that makeup, though.

The majority of women Stevie's age wouldn't be caught dead in public without at least some makeup, and there's a reason why they feel that way.

"Dreams" didn't play in its entirety until the third hour.

I think it must be how they get around keeping the artist waiting to go back on stage just for one song, since the show needs to keep time free for local affiliates to do traffic updates and weather reports.

So the artist plays their songs consecutively, and then they simply re-air the remaining one when there's room for it in the third hour.

When Stevie, Lindsey and/or the Mac give lackluster or marginal performances, I am one to point it out and have been blasted for it on this site on numerous occasions for doing so. However, her performance today was fantastic...I moved me to tears. This was Stevie Nicks at her best, as far as I am concerned. She looked great and sounded great. I recorded the performance on DVR and am going to transfer it to DVD. As far as I am concerned, this is her best televised performance since "The Dance".

She should wear a pony tail on stage. Except during Rhiannon because then she wouldn't be able to whip her hair into her face during the dramatic parts.

I think considering Stevie normally goes to bed at 4 or 5am, the fact that A) she was THERE at 6am for rehearsal, and B) is in her late 50s... she looked fabulous. As someone who gets up at 10am on my workdays, and noon on my days off, I can tell you that 6am is a little piece of hell in my world. Pure hell. I don't schedule things til 3pm on my days off. It truly is a whole other world of existence. Stevie probably had to get up at 5am (if she went to bed at all) to be there. That would actually make me nauseous. I think it's totally normal that she wouldn't have had makeup on, and I don't honestly think she looked bad at all. Geez. Give a girl a break.

Okay..I think it's a bull terrier mix - It's long wide nose makese me think that...and just the shape of it's face...What it's mixed with, I don't know...

Yes. That was my first thought when I saw this pic.

I laughed out loud to the "RAW/COOKED" categories.
It was like she went into an oven and DING, Stevie's done.
I agree that considering her age and time of the day, she does look a little bit tired. However, I am a night owl too and the thought of being there that early for makeup and rehearsal would drive me mad. I too would look half asleep, but damn, she looked good after hair and make up got done with her and she looked more awake. Hell, she looked like she could still rock out for another hour on stage.

I think she looks amazing in all the pictures, Silent Night included; I'd venture to say 95% of women (and men) are not blessed with perfect complexion and/or skin, especially nearing 60. Just like most models who are gorgeous, it takes several pictures to get one that looks good - and I think Stevie does just the opposite...rarely takes a "bad" picture. She always looks cute, if not gorgeous. She's looking fabulous for her age and as far as the makeup on stage goes, it is what it is...

Thanks for posting these pics. It's great to see this side of Stevie.

She actually looks older then 60 in some of the no makeup pictures to me. But then in other no makeup pictures she looks rather good. Her makeup artist must be a miracle worker though because I had no idea she looked like that in real life.
It's all smoke & mirrors hon..when I met her she had no make up on..she looks her age...lighting..make up works wonders.

Yeah - and god, look at that second pic - you KNOW she hasn't eaten,
it's cold, it's dark, she's sick to her stomach, probably feeling like
somebody just punched her there, in the big city. Without making
a big deal again, geez - it's 6 am. And we know that even under
normal conditions she gets nervous before a big performance.

I wonder if Stevie knows people were snapping photos of her with no makeup on? I'm just suprised she went out there like that considering all those rumours about how she demanded filters and proper lighting for the Destiny Rules Doc.
My friend Jim is the Stage Manager of The Today Show..I always ask him about Stevie when she appears. He said when she is in the Studio..she always hides her neck and wants to be lit a certain way and has a favorite profile...... Outside is a different story..lighting is not as good..but I thought she looked great..Celebs do not walk around in full make up at 5 AM doing a sound check ...come on folks!

I think she is wearing a little something-something in these pics....her face complexion looks totally even and soft....which is prolly not the full case...I think she has a little foundation on or something like that.

absolutely NOT. She had nothing on. At the FM Today show, she had lipgloss on but she had NOTHING on yesterday, not even foundation. The lady behind me said she could not believe she was 57 as she had no spots on her face without makeup. Everyone around me who were five feet from her agreed, she was bared faced. I thought she looked adorable with the pony tail and glasses. She was not self conscious as she took the glasses off knowing there were a few dozen people standing right there watching her. She obviously is not that vain, as Brian pointed out. Edit..some people are saying she was wearing lipgloss but it did not look that way to me, in person. Perhaps I am comparing it to the FM soundcheck where her lipgloss was bright pink and shiny....whatever..she had no eye makeup on and I do not think she had on foundation.

Diamondsnake...sometimes I think you forget how old Stevie really is and what a rough life she has lived. For all the smoking she has done and still does, her skin is gorgeous!

I think she looks fabulous with or without the make up, as someone mentioned before she looks pretty darn good considering her past life style. I mean cigarettes alone will age you pretty bad, and she was sucking down 3 packs a day at one time. I'd say it's a miracle she looks this good, even if she's had work done. One thing I didn't really care for was the dark arches in her eye shadow, I think they could have been blended a bit more.

She got there at 3:30 AM! She had on a blue plastic wrist band during soundcheck, like she had been at a show, club, backstage someplace the night before. I doubt she even went to bed. She does! A little bit. What struck me the most when I saw these photos of her without make-up is her looking a bit more like her Mom. We've always seen photos of Barbara Nicks as an older lady mostly, and I never really thought Stevie looked too much like her before, but without make-up, I see more of her mother's features. Amazing how Stevie's eyes come alive with make-up, though, isn't it? Her eyes look much smaller without it. Stevie is such a pretty lady, with or without make-up.

Yes, I truly believe that Stevie's inner beauty is so strong, it shines through to her face. (make up or not). Singing on stage is I believe when she feels most happy (IMHO). if done correctly with enough vertical dimension...they shouldn't do that ;)

Assuming she's had no surgery, she looks pretty damn good for what she put herself through. I'm actually surprised she looks as good as she does...surgery or not.

if done correctly with enough vertical dimension...they shouldn't do that ;)

and whoever said they think stevie's have been capped, I'm still not so certain they have been. I've been looking for pics to change my theory, but so far have failed. I think they are her natural teeth, just shaved down a little.

I saw a pic without them from late 90s or 2000 or so -
they're caps. Probably very expensive ones, I think.

Well, I can't imagine that Stevie went to her local mall dentist to get her teeth capped.

She actually looks older then 60 in some of the no makeup pictures to me. But then in other no makeup pictures she looks rather good. Her makeup artist must be a miracle worker though because I had no idea she looked like that in real life.

I think they're pretty damn good except for the last one where she's making a weird face.

AMEN! If I did that to myself, I would look like Keith Richards
So, Stevie gets a "high five" and a "That a girl" from me for maintaining such class and beauty through the years. (Granted there were a few rough spots, but she came out on top) :)

It is really only this picture where she looks unrecognizable to me and rather old. I'm going to blame it on a bad camera angle.

I don't know...that picture creeps me out. She doesn't like herself. She looks jowly and reminds me of a munchkin from the Wizard of Oz.

She look fine in the Silent Night pic? If I woke up next to her looking like that every morning, it would be a surefire cure for morning erections. :p
That is so repugnant!

You my friend need a good bitch slapping. Waking up next to "that" should be what you should wish for, the trash you must currently wake up to must be from the gutter.

I find that the people in life who pick others apart, especially in the looks department, are usually themselves the ones who were not blessed with any physical attributes to show off.

I totally agree... I'm not a morning person AT ALL!! I look like hell until about noon... I KNOW I wouldn't want to be photographed at 6am!

I agree, Me too, I'm a late riser myself. I will have my sunglasses on also,
stick my tongue out to the camera's to bust stones. Hehehe.

See I think she looks sick in this pic or something. Real terrible IMO. I don't think it's just the make up.

I would like everyone here to please post pictures of themselves taken after either no sleep or right after they get up. Then we can all pick apart each others looks. I mean, everyone here must be models or something just perfect to look at no matter what.... so lets see it !!!!!

I don't think she looks her age AT ALL... Have you seen some 60 year old women without makeup before? Not even taking wrinkles into account, they don't look half as good as Stevie.. ;)

Hey -
My daughter was standing right next to you at the Today Show - (you were talking about this web site, that's why I'm here)....did anyone ever figure out who Noah's Wish was? Anyway, being there I thought she looked wonderful (animated)...pics aren't that great - but didn't you think she looked fine? jmho

I mean, not to be a bitch - but he might have dropped it for like a second so we the loyal fans could have gotten a glimpse, eh? By the way - loved your finger dance during Stand Back :blob2:

I believe Noah's Wish is an animal welfare group- interested in rescuing orphaned/abandoned animals. Although I thought the two representatives from there with the banner were tw@t-heads, I think the charity is noble.

YES! I've been saying that for years! They especially looked like each other in the 80's, w/ the big hair they both had...Slap some brown contacts on Melody and she could SO play "the older" Stevie in a movie.

Oh, and welcome to the Ledge! :D

Well thanks for the welcome, Livia! My friends all think I am crazy and they don't see the resemblance so much. But, if you watch Young and the Restless, Nikki's hair is looking more and more like Stevie's current hair. :)

Hey - I remember you!! Are you the one that provided the pics? I'm so grateful - we dropped our camera rushing out of the car half asleep (we drove up from Cape Cod, MA). Noble cause, yes - shithead sign-holders for sure :]
