I just got a copy of FM 10/20/82 in Oakland which has the most incredible version of Sisters of the Moon I ever heard.Does anyone else have this?
It is perfect soundboard quality.
I don't usually collect the FM stuff, but I traded my good buddy Sharon some of my Stevie stuff and got this one.
I must have listened to it 10 times already.
Thanks Sharona!

Yes,Oakland Coliseum 10/20/82,the entire show,at least that is what the cover says and they make several refrences to Oakland during the show so I guess it is correct.

I, and I am sure everyone, would greatly appreciate it if you post it here, maybe using www.yousendit.com - if not, that is okay too. But, I would love to hear it :wavey:

It's not bad at all...I still think the Mirage DVD version is better. Lindsey's guitar work is tight too.

But I didn't know there was soundboard of the last half of the show (which includes "Sisters").

I go to www.yousendit.com and then enter my own email address and then upload the song. Then, when it is done sending it, it gives you a link. Then copy the link and post it in this thread. Everyone can then download it from that link. And - its FREE!!!!!!

Aha. As I thought. Not soundboard "Sisters" -- it's the Jeff Samuels recording. He was in the audience.

Well if it ain't soundboard its pretty damn close. He used some sort of DAT or digital device -- I don't know for sure what was being manufactured back then. Jeff recorded a Dance show, too.

This recording was really the first really good audience recording of a Fleetwood Mac concert (unless you count the uncannily, inexplicably good Dallas Cotton Bowl show from '78).

By the way, the entire Oakland concert is available, not just "Sisters." It may be something you'd be interested in ...?

yep, I just finished downloading and had the same trouble. I remeber seeing this extension when I used to bother with torrents but can't remember how to fix it.

You need to decode/convert it, to an aiff or wav. If you have a Mac, try xACT.
