I wanted to get people's opinions on this. I've just decided that there's only so much time in my music listening life for all this stuff. Dont get mt wrong I enjoy listening to unreleased performances, but I think at the age of 34, I've decided to say "Less is more." Maybe it's just one of those things that I went through as a younger collector, where I wanted EVERYTHING in sight. Have others gone through this? I still have about 150 Concerts between Stevie and Fleetwood Mac, so Maybe I'm contradicting myself.

I think it just depends what you are in to...... and I go through phases like that every once in a while myself..... Now for me--I can't get enough photos  Don't know why--but that is just my thing! I honestly don't have very many live shows--don't know why really--but I just never got into the whole trading shows thing and after a while they all sound the same to me--JMO!! I'm very picky also--so if they aren't perfect.... well then...... I just don't find them that enjoyable I guess..... I love love love demos--but even those can get a little boring when you have so many of the same song over and over...... give me something new to listen to and I'm all over it though :)

I know what you mean about the live shows. Most of the ones I have are audience recordings, but I just take them for what theyre worth, a piece of history. But I totally understand where you're coming from on the quality point.

I was big into collection bootlegs and demos for along time. Now I find that I have certians ones I listen to, and others just sitting in a CD case. I stopped collecting ones that aren't good quality. I don't listen to them, so what's the point? It's hard for me to hear how great a show is if I can't hear it! I love demos....but again, quality is important!

I know what you mean. Epsecially with the SYW shows. Most of the ones I have are VERY similar. I posted a note on my site....I am not trading for SYW shows! They are just very redundant.
