Stevie mentioned on my local radio station.

Hey Hey Hey..
I was out floating by the pool just now listening to 96x a local classic rock radio station here in Gilmer, Texas... and the played Go Your Own Way.(which i'm sure the neighbors could hear me wailing).. and after the song the djs talked about Stevie's father passing and how sorry they were.. and that they checked nicksfix and read that Stevie stated that her father waited until her tour was over for his passing.. and they complimented her poem to him as well.....
Stevie is mentioned a lot out here in good old Gilmer Texas... lot's of Eagles mentions too... Gilmer is where Don Henley was born... we even have this itsy bitsy town museum in which Don Henley has a little section devoted to him... it's pretty neat.
I'm off to the pool to fry my skin in this Texas heat!!

Hey hey..here too..in Moncton New Brunswick..Today the dj on c103 fm mentioned Stevie's dad passing and a bit of info on Jess and how fans could go to the NicksFix to send condolences to the family..Thought that was very nice..Of course I called him ;) to thank him for that..and he asked me to send him some pictures of the recent concert ..He is going to play Landslide today at noon for me..

I think DJs are just now mentioning it because the news was posted yesterday on Rock Daily, a music news website that radio stations have access to.....so the DJs can sound "in the know" :)

By the way, Don doesn't like it when bios say he's from Gilmer. He was only born there since that was the closest hospital at the time. He grew up in Linden.
