YES, but they're . . .

"TOO YOUNG, TO FALL IN LO-OVE. . .. TOO YOUNG, TO FALL IN LO-OVE, THEY'RE MUCH TO *YOUNG* TO YOUNG, TO FALL IN LO-OVE..."

But isn't Stevie such a nice place for them to start???

Thats why Stevie's so special. I does not matter what music gender fans
like. Like me, I love country music because it tills a story.I love her music because the songs till a story, not 4 minutes of singing the same words over and over again, I hate those songs , they're boring and a waste of my time. Stevie has a big fan base, young and old ."hahaha old like me" ....

I remember the Ledge's resident "metalhead" (I wonder who that could be...Hmmm  ) saying that the headbangers love Stevie <img src="http://www.angelfire.com/music3/rhiannon/Headbang-Smilie.gif">

This thread takes me back to my high school days....After The Other Side Of The Mirror was released and started to slip out of the charts, it seemed as though Stevie's career began to lose direction.....it's as if she didn't really fit in anywhere among her musical peers. Rap and hip hop were coming of age, and the hair bands were everywhere. En Vogue, Run DMC and Jody Wately on one end....Guns & Roses, Samantha Fox and Great White on the other side.... Stevie just didn't really fit into either of these genres, but her 'people' promoted her as a rocker chick in hopes that the metal heads would buy her albums. She started showing up in every metal rag on the news stands, her picture right there alongside the band photo of Megadeath. I remember overhearing a snippet of conversation in the hall between my high school's two biggest metalheads.....these two were Jay and Silent Bob before there was a Jay & Silent Bob. I had opened my locker (which was plastered inside with pictures of Stevie that I had cut out of her record covers - I went and bought extra copies for this purpose) and as these metalhead dudes walked by, they glanced in my locker, and one of them said "Stevie Nicks is hot, I'd do her", to which the other one responded "Yeah man, but Lita Ford rocks way harder." Not only was I mortified that they wanted to 'do' MY fairy-god-mother, I remember I was shocked that either one of them even knew who Stevie Nicks was, as my mind filled with visuals of these long haired, mean kids banging head while they sat in their smoky basements listening to Rooms On Fire.

Shortly after, Timespace was released....with songs written by Brett Michaels and Jon Bon Jovi....and then Stevie faded into obscurity....

I was at the Crue show Sunday night at PNC,what a time.
Drinking beer and playing wiffle ball in the parking lot in 100 degree heat, listening to all that shit I grew up with.Thank God I am on vacation this week,I don't know how I would have made it in Monday, slept till noon.
BTW the last time I was at PNC-Stevie!
