I just uploaded to my website the classic and timeless 1981 Bella Donna concert, filmed for HBO from the White Winged Dove Tour. The first track, 'Gold Dust Woman,' has Jess Nicks introducing his daughter to the audience, which I thought would be nice to share, especially now... :angel:

This sound quality of this concert is excellent, as is Stevie, her band, her songs, and that night ~

Thanks, I will live with that the rest of my life.I remember when the HBO specia
premiered in 1982, I remember staying up late around 2 or 4 am in the morning
to see Stevie. at that time I had no vcr at the time. I can't wait for the DVD version to come out.

You're very welcome! I thought it might be nice to listen to right now. It's also one of my all-time favourite concerts, and it features rare performances of songs like 'Bella Donna' live.

Me, too, except I was lucky enough to catch it in the afternoon, I remember, at a friend's house. I remember it like it was yesterday, and it will always be one of my all-time faves...

Thanks Claudia! I actually taped it when it came out on Beta (before I had VHS) Her dad's introduction has always been a moving highlight of the show.

That was very thoughtfull of you Claudia. Thank you. I have this on VHS and has been a while since I viewed it, so listening to the audio from this show will be special. I have a car trip next week and this will definately be in my CD player. :)

Thank you for that download, I haven't had a good version of angel and bella donna from that show...so I downladed the whole show instead because the whole thing sounded great.

i love you for posting this~ i was sucha daddy's girl b4 my father's passing~ i remember the 1st time i saw this on HBO & LUVED...LUVED the fact that stevie's dad introduced her~ i have always admired stevie's love for her folks & their love for her~ & how we get excited to see them at a show nearly as much as seeing stevie~ i love her for loving them :xoxo: ~
